Who am I?• Hildur Jackson. 72 years old• Live on Duemosegård, a 4

What is a worldview?

• Cartesian/Newtonian paradigm, dominated European culture for over 300 years, and is still the dominant way of looking at the world by most, but not all, scientists. In this view, the universe is seen as a mechanical clock, gradually unwinding, with no divine plan behind it. Science and religion (matter and mind) were split in two separated areas. We are separated in subjects and objects. A paradigm of separation.

We are not separated in subjects and objects. This is a systemic view of life. The whole is more than a sum of the parts. We study relationships not parts. We are part of selfregulating living networks. Quality not quantity.


My personal awakeningMy mother always said: Our human condition is “the lust of the flesh and the irreparable loneliness of the soul.” She separated matter from mind- and suffered from being a woman in a society where men were competing, women took care of the home fulfilling children’s’ need for love. She was without education and recognition. I knew as a child that I needed to deal with this.I became a lawyer to be able to compete and make a living. If there were other options. My big question was:

do we have to compete or can we cooperate?

• Technology and economics should adapt to and support this lifestyle

The new story: A spiritual worldview of interdependence and oneness

All Life is one and intimately interrelated. We influence each other and are dependent on each

other all over the planet. We are one with nature, plant and animal systems. Every single person is responsible for the wholeness and can influence it. This is a new spiritual paradigm to replace a

materialistic with great implications. It was it. This is a new spiritual paradigm to replace a

materialistic with great implications. It was formulated about 100 years ago by science in the west, but ages ago in the East by “the perennial

philosophy”. It is now ready to become the foundation of a new global culture

How do we get there?


Humans need to change -We need to change the world.

• In people:

Love is our birthright. We can and must develop love in ourselves and among us.

• In nature and society: Competition and cooperationWe need to save 3 billion years of evolution.We need to create global justice


People need to change?

We all share the possibility of access to global consciousness and co-creation of it.

Our light may be dimmed from impressions from this and earlier lifetimes and may need cleaning away of these old and may need cleaning away of these old impressions and outdated thoughts for our

Transition groups and ecovillage groups will take the lead from below. Cities
