Webinar Guidance for Online Users

We will be using Zoom Video Conferencing to broadcast the session. https://zoom.us

Please follow these preparation steps below, to ensure you have a smooth experience on the

day.

Technical Preparation You will need a computer with a reliable broadband Internet connection.

For optimum audio you will need a headset and microphone connected to your

computer. The microphone and speakers on your deice will still work OK. If you do not

have a device then you will need a phone to dial in to audio only.

Software Requirements For the best experience, download and install the Zoom Client desktop software in

advance, then joining a test meeting to confirm your device is optimised. Click this link

Joining the Webinar/Meeting

You will receive an email from webinar host inviting you to join the meeting (the email

will contain session details, Zoom Meeting Link, Individual Meeting ID and any handouts

required)

Unmute/Mute you Microphone If the host gives you permission, you can unmute and talk during the webinar. We would

like to encourage you to utilise this option to participant in webinar and during group discussion

If the host allows you to talk, you will receive a notification - all participants will be able to hear you. 

Group Chat The Group Chat window allows you to ask questions to the host and others in

attendance. They can either reply back to you via text in the Group Chat window or answer your question live.
