We shouldn’t have to wait for a holiday, or Lent or any other holiday when we then stop and say that extra prayer, or maybe reach out to someone that’s hurting, so ask yourself….why wait? Grand Knight’s Thoughts

It’s been a busy month of May…. We’ve had a celebration with Fr. Jerry Scanlan for his 58th year ordained as a priest, an Honor Guard at St. Elizabeth Seton for confirmation, helped spread mulch at St. George, held an Admission Degree, helped at the Special Olympics., held a Corporate Communion at St. Elizabeth Seton. June looks to be busy as well….Election of Officers on June 6th, Installation of Officers June 20th.

As we move into the warmer weather, vacations, family events, etc. Let’s not deny ourselves our need to continue to do good works and continue our prayers. At times many of us find ourselves moving so quickly we wonder where the day went. It’s easy to do, but we need to take each day, and give Thanks. We shouldn’t have to wait for a holiday, or Lent or any other holiday when we then stop and say that extra prayer, or maybe reach out to someone that’s hurting, so ask yourself….why wait? Yes, warm weather usually goes along with “summer vacation time”, from school, or work, or just unwind time, so yet another challenge to each of us….make this “summer time” time for you to remember to pray each day, help someone in your own family, better yet, help someone you aren’t connected to. Be proud to be a Catholic, be proud to be a Knight, SPREAD the word.

Welcome our new Brother Knights that completed their Admission (First) Degree with us on May 16th. Ricardo BeltranJoseph CasconeRobert LewandowskiDeclain McCloatJames PerkEdward Eubank

THANK EACH OF YOU FOR YOUR CHARITY, UNITY, FRATERNITY AND PATRIOTISM! WE SHOULD BE READY TO ASSIST ANYONE WITH A NEW IDEA OR BETTER WAY TO GIVE SERVICE TO OTHERS. AS YOU’VE HEARD FROM MANY OF OUR BROTHERS – OUR COUNCIL’S STRENGTH COMES FROM EACH ONE OF OUR EFFORTS.

IF EVERY ONE DOES A LITTLE, NO ONE DOES IT ALL.

Vivat Jesus Fraternally Bill Krueger - Grand Knight

Chaplain’s MessageMay honors our mothers and Mary. June will have our Fathers' day celebration.  We continue to plan and look forward to vacation.  Try to pause in all the hullabaloo of the summer and thank God from whom all blessings flow.  We are indeed fortunate in being able to do all the things we do.  Say a special prayer for the many Christians in troubled spots on our globe who would love to have the privileges and freedom we enjoy.  We honored veterans on Memorial Day weekend.  It is because of the dedication and skill of our military men and women that we are so fortunate. NEVER FORGET those who serve us.  "By this shall men know that you are my disciples, that you love one another. For he who abides in love, abides in God and God in him.  As brother knights we must always be looking for ways to love and care for those in need.  We are doing a great job here in CC Boyle but there is so much else to do.  Keep looking for new ways and new programs to put your faith in actionYour Faithful Chaplain:Fr. Jerry    Vivat Jesus
