God’s Plan of SalvationThere are many voices in the world and many and different messages. For man to be saved, it is necessary that we hear the message from God. This message will give us the understanding how God saves people since salvation is not in man’s ways. It is in this message where we shall put our faith and be saved. It is not just a message. The difference is the source is God. Our Lord Jesus Christ was with the Father from the beginning and what He has seen and heard he declared to us. Jesus preached the gospel and the Kingdom of God.

13"And he reported to us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying, 'Send to Joppa and have Simon, who is also called Peter, brought here;  14and he will speak words to you by which you will be saved, you and all your household.'   Act 11:13-14

1God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Heb 1:1-2

31“He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. 33He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. 34For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.” Jn 3:31-35

This book shows us from the scriptures that Hell is Real, God’s Plan of Salvation, the Gospel of God, Eternal Life and our Entry to His Kingdom.

THE WORD OF GOD SAYS HELLAND THE LAKE OF FIRE ARE REAL

2

It was made for Satan and his Wicked Angels

Matthew 25:41, Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS.

2Peter 2:4, For if GOD DID NOT SPARE ANGELS when they sinned, but CAST THEM INTO HELL and committed them to PITS OF DARKNESS, reserved for judgment;

Revelation 20:10, "And the DEVIL that deceived them was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

Hell from Beneath the Earth

Psalms 139:8, If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

Proverbs 15:24, The path of life leads upward for the wise That he may keep away from SHEOL BELOW.

Isaiah 14:9-11, 15, “SHEOL FROM BENEATH is excited over you to meet you when you come; It arouses for you the spirits of the dead, all the leaders of the earth; It raises all the kings of the nations from their thrones. 10 “They will all respond and say to you, ‘Even you have been made weak as we, You have become like us. 11 ‘Your pomp and the music of your harps Have been brought DOWN TO SHEOL; Maggots are spread out as your bed beneath you.15 “Nevertheless you will be thrust DOWN TO SHEOL, To the RECESSES OF THE PIT.

Numbers 16:30-33, “But if the LORD brings about an entirely new thing and the GROUND OPENS ITS MOUTH and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and THEY DESCEND ALIVE INTO SHEOL, then you will understand that these men have spurned the LORD.” 31 As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open; 32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who belonged to Korah with their possessions. 33 So THEY and all that belonged to them WENT DOWN ALIVE TO SHEOL; and the earth closed over them, and THEY PERISHED from the midst of the assembly.

Numbers 26:9-10, The sons of Eliab: Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram who were called by the congregation, who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the LORD, 10 and THE EARTH OPENED ITS MOUTH AND SWALLOWED THEM UP along with Korah, when that company died, when the FIRE DEVOURED 250 men, so that they became a warning.

3

Where the Wicked Shall Suffer

Psalm 9:17, The WICKED SHALL BE TURNED INTO HELL, and all the nations that forget God.

Job 21:13, “They spend their days in prosperity, And suddenly they go down to SHEOL.

Job 24:19, “DROUGHT AND HEAT consume the snow waters,SO DOES SHEOL THOSE WHO HAVE SINNED.

Isaiah 66:24, And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their WORM SHALL NOT DIE, NEITHER shall their FIRE BE QUENCHED; and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh.

Matthew 5:22, “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘ You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 13:41-42, The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.

Matthew 22:13, ...Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.

Luke 12:5, But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which AFTER he has killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

The Rich Man and LazarusLuke 16:19-2319"Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. 20"And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores,  21and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man's table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores.  22"Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also DIED and was buried.  23"In HADES HE LIFTED UP HIS EYES, BEING IN TORMENT, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom.  24"And he cried out and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I AM IN AGONY IN THIS FLAME.'  25"But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.  26'And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.'  27"And he said, 'Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father's house--  28for I have five brothers--in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this PLACE OF TORMENT.'

4

29"But Abraham said, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.'  30"But he said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!'  31"But he said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will NOT BE PERSUADED even if someone rises from the dead.'"

Hell cast into the Lake of Fire

At Judgment DayRev 20:12-15, 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and THE DEAD WERE JUDGED from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then DEATH AND HADES WERE THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE.

Revelation 21:8, But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH.

Eternal Fire and Everlasting Punishment

Daniel 12:2, And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and EVERLASTING CONTEMPT.

Matthew 18:8, 9 Wherefore if your hand or your foot offend you, cut them off, and cast them from you: it is better for you to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or feet to be cast into EVERLASTING FIRE. And if your eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Matthew 25:41 Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.

Matthew 25:46, And these shall go away into EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mark 9:44 Where their WORM DOES NOT DIE, and the FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED.

II Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.

5

Jude 7, Sodom and Gomorrah...are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of ETERNAL FIRE.

Revelation 14:11, And the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and THEY HAVE NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT...

Revelation 20:10, And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and THEY WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER.

Who Won't Enter God's KingdomAnd End Down in Hell?

God's Plan of Salvation

Before the foundation of the world God had the plan of salvation for man. He made man in His image and likeness until the day that man sinned and rebelled against God. Can man work out his own salvation? Is he capable of redeeming his soul from hell?

Man Needs Salvation

All Have sinned

7

9What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin;  10as it is written,         "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;     11THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS,         THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD;     12ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS;         THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD,         THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."     13"THEIR THROAT IS AN OPEN GRAVE,         WITH THEIR TONGUES THEY KEEP DECEIVING,"         "THE POISON OF ASPS IS UNDER THEIR LIPS";     14"WHOSE MOUTH IS FULL OF CURSING AND BITTERNESS";     15"THEIR FEET ARE SWIFT TO SHED BLOOD,     16DESTRUCTION AND MISERY ARE IN THEIR PATHS,     17AND THE PATH OF PEACE THEY HAVE NOT KNOWN."     18" THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES

Rom 3:9-18

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom 3: 23

12Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

Rom 5:12

32For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Rom 11:32

22But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Gal 3:22

Are evil

5Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Gen 6:5

5The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant. Is 24:5

23"Can the Ethiopian change his skin         Or the leopard his spots?         Then you also can do good         Who are accustomed to doing evil. Jer 13:23

19"For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. Mt 15:19

21"For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries,

8

22deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. 23"All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man."

Mk 7:21-23

19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, faction 21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 5:19-21

Are spiritually dead

1And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Eph 2:1-2

6But she who gives herself to wanton pleasure is dead even while she lives. 1Tim 5:6

Under the power of the devil

10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. 1Jn 3:10

19We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1Jn 5:19

2in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

Eph 2:2-3

14Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

Heb 2:14-15

Dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death  10There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, 11Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High.

Ps 107:10-11

9

79TO SHINE UPON THOSE WHO SIT IN DARKNESS AND THE SHADOW OF DEATH, To guide our feet into the way of peace."

Lk 1:79

Not believe and obey the truth

13"Others have been with those who rebel against the light;         They do not want to know its ways         Nor abide in its paths. Jb 24:13

2and that we will rescued from perverse and evil men; for not all have faith.2Thess 3:2

8but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. Rom 2:8

32For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Rom 11:32

17For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

1Pet 4:17

Not know and are without God

4In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. Jn 1:4-5,10

19"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

Jn 3:19

21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 1Cor 1.21

34Become sober-minded as you ought, and stop sinning; for some have no knowledge of God I speak this to your shame. 1Cor 15:34

8However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. Gal 4:8

12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Eph 2:12

10

5not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;1Thess 4:5

8dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 2Thess 1:8

Not people of God

10for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.

1Pet 2:10

25As He says also in Hosea,         " I WILL CALL THOSE WHO WERE NOT MY PEOPLE, 'MY PEOPLE, AND HER WHO WAS NOT BELOVED, 'BELOVED.'"

Rom 9:25

Alienated, separated from Christ and God

3Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Eph 2:3, 12

18being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

Eph 4:18

21And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, Col 1:21

2But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Is 59:2

The wicked shall not inherit the kingdom of God

9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

1Cor 6:9-10

5For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

Eph 5:5-6

11

19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:19-21

15Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Rev 22:15

No power to redeem his soul

7No man can by any means redeem his brother         Or give to God a ransom for him--     8For the redemption of his soul is costly,         And he should cease trying forever--     9That he should live on eternally,         That he should not undergo decay.

15But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol,         For He will receive me. Selah. Ps 49:7-9,15,

48What man can live and not see death?         Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.

Ps 89:48

8For You have rescued my soul from death,         My eyes from tears,         My feet from stumbling. Ps 116:8

1" Man, who is born of woman,         Is short-lived and full of turmoil.      2"Like a flower he comes forth and withers          He also flees like a shadow and does not remain.      3"You also open Your eyes on him         And bring him into judgment with Yourself.     4" Who can make the clean out of the unclean?         No one! Jb 14:1-4

25When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, "Then who can be saved?" 26And looking at them Jesus said to them, "With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Mt 19:25-26

19'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry."'  20"But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?'

Lk 12:19-20

10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. Js 2:10

12

Too late at death

5For there is no mention of You in death;         In Sheol who will give You thanks? Ps 6:5

9"What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness? Ps 30:9

18"For Sheol cannot thank You,         Death cannot praise You;         Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness. 19"It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today;A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness. 20"The LORD will surely save me; So we will play my songs on stringed instruments All the days of our life at the house of the LORD." Is 38:18-20

God is my salvation

1To You, O LORD, I call;         My rock, do not be deaf to me,         For if You are silent to me,         I will become like those who go down to the pit.

Ps 28:1

2”Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” Is 12:2

The Gospel of GodTHE CRUCIFIXION,

DEATH ANDRESURRECTION OF CHRIST

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

The Gospel of God is the good news revealed by God to His prophets, writings and apostles. It was the promise thousands of years ago God made to Abraham that through his seed all nations were to be blessed. This blessing is eternal life, salvation

13

and forgiveness from all of our sins. The seed was Christ who was born of a virgin. He suffered, was crucified and rose from the dead and through whom we shall be forgiven and be saved.

Isaiah 53 The Suffering Servant    1Who has believed our message?         And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?     3He was despised and forsaken of men,         A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;         And like one from whom men hide their face         He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.     4Surely our griefs He Himself bore,         And our sorrows He carried;         Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,         Smitten of God, and afflicted.     5But He was pierced through for our transgressions,         He was crushed for our iniquities;         The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,         And by His scourging we are healed.     6All of us like sheep have gone astray,         Each of us has turned to his own way;         But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all         To fall on Him.      10But the LORD was pleased         To crush Him, putting Him to grief;         If He would render Himself as a guilt offering,         He will see His offspring,         He will prolong His days,         And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.     11As a result of the anguish of His soul,         He will see it and be satisfied;         By His knowledge the Righteous One,         My Servant, will justify the many,         As He will bear their iniquities.     12Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,         And He will divide the booty with the strong;         Because He poured out Himself to death,         And was numbered with the transgressors;         Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,         And interceded for the transgressors.

28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

Mt 20:28

1Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,  2which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures,  3concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, 4who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of

14

holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord,

Rom 1:1-4 17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.  18For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 23but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,

1Cor 1:17-18, 23

1Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,   2by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  4and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

11Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

1Cor 15:1-4,11 44Now He said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." 45Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46and He said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48"You are witnesses of these things.

Lk 24:44-48

The Gospel is the Sacrifice, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus which resulted into the forgiveness and redemption of man from his sins.

Christ Died for All Men

6who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.

1Tim 2:6

6For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:6

2and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

1Jn 2.2

15

14We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

1Jn 4:14

Offered Himself

27who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

Heb 7:27

14how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Heb 9:14

10By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 12but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD,

Heb 10:10,12

Bore Our Sins and Took the Penalty

24and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

1Pet 2:24

26Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

Heb 9:26

28so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

Heb 9:28

3For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

Rom 8:3

2and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

1Jn 2:2

Reconciled Us to God

16

10For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Rom 5:10-11

20and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach--

Col 1:20-22

18Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

2Cor 5:18-19

Took Away Our Sins

29The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Jn 1:29

3And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power When He had made purification of sins; He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Heb 1:3

26Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

Heb 9:26

10By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD,

Heb 10:10-12

Forgiveness and Remission of Sins

28for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

Mt 26:28

17

7In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 13But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Eph 1:7, 2:13

14how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 22And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Heb 9:14,22

5and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—

Rev 1:5

Justified Us

9Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him

Rom 5:9

25He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

Rom 4:25

Raised Us Up

1Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Col 3:1

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1Pet 1:3

God's Way to Heaven

I. GOD LOVES YOU and desires that you:

1. Have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.John 3:16

18

2. Have an abundant and meaningful life.Jesus said, ‘… I came that they might have life, and have it abundantly.’John 10:10

But most people aren’t experiencing a meaningful life and aren’t sure that they have eternal life because…

II. Man has a SIN problem that SEPARATES him from GOD.

1. Everyone has sinned.… For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God….Romans 3:23

2. The penalty for sin is DEATH.For the wages of sin is death….Romans 6:23

The Bible talks about two kinds of death. The first death is physical. The second death is spiritual or eternal separation from God.But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the Second Death.Revelation 21:8

Because sin separates man from God, what is the solution to his problem?

III. JESUS CHRIST is God’s ONLY way to heaven.

The Good News or the Gospel

1. He is the ONLY way.Jesus said… ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.’  John 14:6

2. He COMPLETELY PAID the penalty of your sins. For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God….  1 Peter 3:18

3. His resurrection proves that He is the Son of God, the Messiah, the only Savior.… Concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord….  Romans 1:3-4

4. He gives Eternal Life.Jesus said … ‘I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die….’John 11:25-26

However, merely knowing what Jesus Christ has done for us is not enough.

19

IV. We must place our FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.

1. You are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the GIFT OF GOD – not by works, so that no one can boast.Ephesians 2:8-9

To be saved by faith means to TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE to save you. He died and resurrected and paid for our sins.Good works are not the means to salvation; rather, they are the byproducts or evidence of your salvation.

2. Show your faith in Jesus Christ by accepting His gift of eternal life. and after he brought them out, he said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They said, “ Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”Acts 16:30-31

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3:36

3. Prove the sincerity of your faith by turning away from a life of sin.I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds. A person who genuinely asks for forgiveness will seek to change his ways.Acts 26:20

WHAT SHOULD WE DO TO BE SAVED AND HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?

The ABC of Salvation:

ADMIT WE HAVE SINNED AND REPENT        23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3: 233"I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.  Luke 13:3

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL  saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand;  repent and believe in the gospel."  Mark 1:15

CONFESS JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR AND  HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD  9that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;10for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding

20

in riches for all who call on Him; 13for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."  Romans 10:9-13

PRAYER:

"Heavenly Father, I have sinned. I confess that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross, died for my sin and rose from the dead. Forgive me and wash me with the blood of Jesus. I am turning away from sin. Lord Jesus come to my heart and my life and I receive You as my Lord and Savior. I now receive forgiveness and eternal life. Thank You Father, In Jesus Name. Amen."

BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20

ASSURANCE YOU NOW HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

“And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.”   1John 5:11-13

The Results are through the Gospel the Repentant Believers:

Become sons of God

12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jn 1:12-13

21

26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.6Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

Gal 3:26, 4:6

Saved

15And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

Mk 16:15-16

9obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.1 Pet 1:9

Forgiven

7"BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOSE LAWLESS DEEDS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN,AND WHOSE SINS HAVE BEEN COVERED. 8" BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD WILL NOTTAKE INTO ACCOUNT." Rom 4:7-8

43"Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

Act 10:43

Given Eternal Life

24"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Jn 5:24

11And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 Jn 5:11-13Given the Holy Spirit

13In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation--having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:13

42"And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. 43"Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."  44While Peter was still

22

speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.  45All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered,  47" Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?"

Act 10:42-47

Added to the church

6This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

Eph 3:6

47praising God and having favor with all the people And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Act 2:47

ENTERED THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Jesus is the King of the Kingdom of God. He came to earth and preached the gospel and the Kingdom of God. He brought the Kingdom of God from heaven to earth. He made this possible through His death and resurrection. It is a spiritual Kingdom now that people can enter through regeneration through faith in Him.

3Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. “6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Jn 3:3-6

13For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Col 1:13-14

17for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Rom 14:17

9 And they sang a new song, saying,

23

“ Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and PURCHASED for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

10“YOU HAVE MADE THEM TO BE A KINGDOM and priests to our God; and they will REIGN upon the earth.”
