However, after a civil war the city became unused. Today it is a haunting ruin but it visited by thousands of tourists Colosseum . The Colosseum was built by the Romans as a huge stadium. It was used for entertainment- which in those days was gladiators fighting each other! The Great Wall of China

South America. It is so high in the mountains that many people feel sick

on the hike up!

The Great Wall of China runs across much of the country of China. It passes the capital city Beijing.

The statue of Christ the Redeemer is high up on a mountain in Brazil. It is

also on a mountain in the Andes mountain range like Maccu Picchu. It looks over the city of Rio de Janeiro.

The Colusseum is in Rome, Italy. Italy is a

country in the continent Europe. Rome is the capital city of Italy.

The Taj Mahal is in the city of Agra in India. India is in Asia. The great

building is next to the Yamuna River.
