WATERCOLOR LAYER EFFECTS

Open your photo Ctrl>Shift>U (if Color Image) to make it Black & White

Change the size to a 5x7 by going to Image>Image Size and make sure the INCHES is

selected.

Ctrl A>Ctrl C>Activate the watercolor PSD document and CtrlV/Paste

To resize the image in the Watercolor Document use Ctrl

Drag the Photo layer below the Paper & Watercolor Folder Layers

Create a copy with Ctrl J

Go to Image>Adjustments>Threshold and get the detail you need

Go to Filter>Stylize>Anisotropic (this blurs the image to get a softer look

Now open the WATERCOLOR folder and select a Texture you like and make visible

Change BLEND MODE to Screen, try another and select BLEND MODE >OVERLAY

Close WATERCOLOR Folder and select PAPER layer Change blend mode to DARKER
