ECO-SHOES

1. - WHAT IS ECO – SHOES?

Social awareness and respect for the environment have increased in Europe, there is now a trend that was born to meet these requirements, and it is called eco fashion and emerged as a wing of the growing green market.

Now you can show off some beautiful shoes, and simultaneously help the environment; it is a line of green shoes made of natural materials, and help to avoid polluting the environment.

Eco fashion aims to capture young people through modern designs, and fashion which in turn involve collaboration with ecology in the fight against pollution, waste and climate change.

Use sustainable materials, renewable and vegan for making their shoes as organic cotton, hemp, wool, linen, microfiber biodegradable, cork, natural rubber, jute, used tires or wheels that help recycle.

In this shoe factory not use materials from animals like leather, fur, wool or silk to avoid animal exploitation.

The soles of these shoes are usually green rubber and glues used to attach different parts to make them, are vegetable based dyes are natural, biodegradable, vegetable tannins are extracted from trees and plants.

They are designed for the whole family; you can find eco-shoes for men, women and children and for all kinds of events, but especially sports and casual shoes.

2. WHAT MATERIALS ARE USE?

Latex milk taken from the bark of the rubber tree in many tedious steps under strict supervision is processed into an adhesive substance which binds together the cork granulate

Page 2: prishoes.files.wordpress.com€¦  · Web viewThe textile plant fiber jute must first be roasted, peeled, combed, cleaned and then made supple before it can be spun into jute fabric

Due to its high degree of elasticity and tensile strength, latex keeps the footbed elastic and ensures a long lifetime of wear.

The textile plant fiber jute must first be roasted, peeled, combed, cleaned and then made supple before it can be spun into jute fabric which is used to stabilize our footbeds and absorb moisture.

Latex is the natural bonding agent of the cork footbed. Latex is milked from the rubber tree, Hevea Brasiliensis, by scratching its bark so that rubber milk can flow from it. Harvesting of latex is done in a careful and responsible way in order to preserve the ecological cycle.

Jute is used to additionally stabilize our footbeds and for enhanced moisture absorption. This raw material is cultivated to be harvested, which means that no resources are wasted but especially grown for this purpose.

3. - WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO WEAR THIS SHOES?

30 years ago, when hardly anybody was talking about environment protection, but many companies began to intensively look into the subject matter of energy-saving and energy-efficient technologies.

Reducing the energy consumption of machinery and heating equipment has been and still is our main concern.Energy consumption could be decreased by more than 90%.

Improvements in the field of our large leather punches, which now require only approx. 10% of the electric power of regular punches.

Implementation of our own environment-friendly power generating plants. Three large combined heat and power plants.

This combined heat and power process recaptures the generated heat and reuses it. A tangible example is our cork footbed drying process.

The heat that would normally be wasted is used to heat the cork footbed drying plant, through which each and every cork footbed travels individually.

This is quite an effort but we are more than happy to accept this worthwhile process to protect the environment.
