Lesson n. 06 01 – 07 August 2020

Unlimited PossibilitiesKey texts: 1 Corinthians 12:7,11,12; 1:4-9; Matthew 3:16,17; 25:14-30

Principle Themes to Explore

1. Unlimited possibilities for everyone. We are all divinely called to witness and share our personal encounter with Jesus.

2. God calls each one of us to represent Him, He calls everyone indiscriminately. He qualifies and equips, as members of His body, those who decide to witness for Him.

3. He reserves support and infinite, incredible possibilities to whoever earnestly gives themselves to Him with dedication.

4. The gifts should be considered as a whole. With the qualification of the gifts our potential become limitless.

Suggestions for Teaching

Concentrate on the fact that each of us has specific roles and functions in the service of the body of Christ, in witnessing for Him for the salvation of those who do not yet know Him.

Possible questions for sharing and discussion

1. What difference do you recognise between gifts and talents? How can we make use of the gifts of others?

2. In the light of this week’s lesson, what are Heaven’s principle objectives in conferring gifts on all believers?

3. What gifts do you see in your brethren? In the members of your Sabbath School Group? What can you do to help them develop their gifts?

4. How intensely do we pray for the Holy Spirit and His gifts in order to be effective in our witnessing?

5. What do you think you can do now to put your gifts and skills at the service of God, your brethren and your neighbour?

Group Objectives

Pastoral

I and my brethren:

Thank God for the gifts He has given.

Recognise the gifts of others.

Spiritual

I and the Word:

Respond to questions about the gifts of the Spirit and how to recognise my gift.

Conduct the discussion in such a way so that everyone participates.

Missionary

We, in service and witnessing:

Rediscover the mystique of mission, keeping alive the proclamation of the Gospel thanks to the gifts of the Spirit.
