Newbigging is a rural site but directly across the road is a row of 4 private cottages so you are not completely isolated.

Facilities: when booked unequipped or equipped:Water and toilets: The field has two water taps. The toilet and shower block is about 25 metres

from the site entrance it has 4 toilets and a shower, plus a toilet and shower suitable for disabled access.

Garden area: there is a small garden area which is sheltered by hedges and can be a great sun trap. Picnic tables and benches.

Campfire: seats up to 100. Backwoods cooking area: an area between the car park and site can be used for backwoods

cooking. There is also a small campfire but no seating other than grass. The barbecue in the house garden may be used by campers by arrangement with Leaders using the holiday house. 6 tables (they are heavy).

Trim Trail: round the edge of the site are 6 wooden activity challenges (like walking a low beam).Wooded area: on one side of

the site.
