Learning In Science we are studying electricity. In English we are looking at discussion texts and writing persuasive letters. In History we are studying the Victorians and the differences in schools 100 years

ago. In ICT we will investigating computational thinking. In PSHE we will be exploring changes. In Art we will be researching William Morris (a Victorian artist) In Maths we will look at place value, adding and subtracting, shape, measuring and

data handling. In Modern Foreign Language we will be continuing to count and learning nouns for

common objects. In RE we will be exploring pilgrimages and religious worship.

Victorian Classroom Trip!

Year 4 are going on a very exciting trip to a Victorian classroom in Sheffield City Centre. Children will work and play as a child from the Victorian times and gain an idea of similarities and differences. Children will enjoy experiencing what life was like 100 years ago.

French Day! This term children will take part in a KS2

French day! This will involve lots of exciting activities including the Tour de Prince,

learning about the History and Geography of France and food tasting. Children are

welcome to come in costume dressed as a famous French person or the colours of the

French flag.

Don’t forget your £1 for the food tasting activity!
