Once applied, the insecticide portion begins to kill the live parasites on the dog’s fur and skin.

The Dinotefuran acts on nerve receptors and Permethrin, which mainly acts on ticks, interferes with the sodium channels on the nerves that plays the role of transmitting signals.

The Pyriproxyfen is an insect growth regulator which puts a stop to the flea cycle by causing production of infertile eggs and also blocks development of young flea stages into adults.

Starts reducing flea feeding in 5 minutes. Kills fleas in 6 hours.

The product also contains an Insect growth regulator which does not outright kill the fleas, but instead it affects their ability to grow into functioning adult fleas.

IGR can either block the flea's ability to turn into an adult or it can cause it to change into an adult before it is physically able to reproduce.
