Design your own symmetrical picture. You can be as creative as you like, for example; draw it; paint it; make it out of coloured paper. You could draw a butterfly or a house.
Investigate the lines of symmetry in 2D shapes You could do this by making a square, rectangle, triangle and circle from paper and folding it. How many lines of symmetry can you find in each shape?
Make a symmetrical pattern, like the one below.

Read a story. (This could be a book where you read a chapter a day). Discuss what you have read with a grown-up/sibling.
Vocabulary – Choose 5 words which are tricky or you are unsure of the meaning, use a dictionary or the internet to find the definitions of those words. Write your own sentences with them in.
Infer- What do you think is happening in the story/chapter you have read?
Predict- Make a detailed prediction about what you think is going to happen next. If this is at the end of the story you can still do this.
Explain- How is the main character feeling? How do you know? Use evidence from the text to support your answer.
Summarise- Write a summary of what you have read. Try to be descriptive and include as much detail as you can.

Write the words using rainbow writing – a different colour for each letter.
Draw a spiral – write the words along the lines in your spiral!
Write the words in your book in lots of different styles or fonts (bubble writing, spiky letters etc).

Read the attached and answer the questions about the text.
Write some sentences about the digestive system using subordinating conjunctions (e.g. although, because, when)
Plan for an informative booklet on the digestive system.
Create an informative booklet on the digestive system, you can include your knowledge of teeth as well. Include diagrams and show off your knowledge of the digestive system!
Edit and uplevel your own learning, make it the best it can be.
