Location: Private residence in Redwood City, CA
Type of Crime/Incident: PC 288(a) – Lewd acts with a child under 14 years old
Suspect: Celso Pantoja-Delcarmen - 42 years old
Summary: In July 2020, Sheriff’s Office detectives started investigating a sexual assault case involving a minor under the age of 14 and the alleged suspect who was her mother’s boyfriend. The investigation yielded information and evidence that Pantoja-Delcarmen sexually assaulted the victim in their home in unincorporated Redwood City. Once detectives obtained enough evidence, the suspect was arrested. The investigation is on-going, and we believe this is an isolated incident.
