Project Background

With its unique culture, breath-taking view of the sea and beaches, Phuket is a famous tourist destination for millions of visitors every year. The government, under its Thailand 4.0 initiative, has a policy to promote new and value-added tourist activities in the province. By making the island a New Creative Destination, Phuket will be able to meet the changing travel needs and styles. At the same time, the existing tourism industry which relies mostly on natural resources will change its face with more value-added tourist activities that will enhance the province’s competitiveness.

Central Pattana Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leader in world-class retail property development and management, and Right Man Co., Ltd., the leader in creative event and theme park, are joining hands in creating a new mega-project, “Tribhum,” the World’s First 3D Walkthrough Adventure Theme Park. Synopsis

For thousands of years, the legend of two mythical races, the Garuda and the Naga, has existed in ancient cultures across the world. People in Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand also inherited this belief in the magical powers of the Great Garuda and the Naga King and the tale of the mythical land beyond the reach of humans and animals. Do these beings actually exist? Find out for yourself!

The story of Tribhum started when all the deities gathered during an auspicious time to make the Elixir of Immortality. Suddenly, one drop of the elixir fell to Earth, opening a secret inter-dimensional passage between Earth and a mythical land called the Magic Forest, a land filled with extraordinary creatures. At the center of the Magic Forest is the Tree of Truth, the keeper of the forest’s equilibrium, who cast a magic spell to hide the Magic Forest from invaders.

When the droplet of elixir fell to Earth, the Tree of Truth conjured up a magical grail to try and re-capture the elixir. Unfortunately, this act soon reached the ears of two powerful deities: the Great Garuda, King of Birds, and the Naga King, Ruler of the Underwater World.

Both deities wanted to claim the elixir for themselves, and thus, the search for the elixir began. Magical beings, hermits, and even humans all joined in with the same quest: to find out the elixir and become immortal.

In time, the competing search for the elixir turned into the Epic War for Immortality in the mythical land called “Tribhum, the Mystical Three Worlds.”

THE MAGIC FOREST

The beyond-imaginary forest, the Magic Forest is home to an abundance of trees and mythical creatures created by the Tree of Truth. To save the Forest from intruders, the Tree of Truth conjures up natural defenses by using human’s weaknesses as protective mantras. Starting at the forefront of the Magic Forest is the Fortress of Charming Illusion where “Makalee”, which is a beautiful female-shaped fruit is waiting to lure intruders and make them obsessed with an infatuation for her until they lose their sense of time and die in the forest. The only way to survive and overcome the mantra is to remain obliged to virtues and strong concentration. Once freed from the first fortress, intruders will confront with the forest’s gatekeepers "Vanekampu", the half-shell half-monkey creatures, who will alert with loud noises when intruders are spotted.

Next, the Fortress of Voice Illusion is "The Talking Tree". Intruders, especially children, will enjoy talking with them and become enchanted that they refuse to leave the forest.

The Fortress of Touch Illusion is a very dangerous zone because all intruders have to wander through a vine cave in which the colorful “Bloody Flowers" are flourishing. Right when anyone reaches out to touch the poisonous flowers, then it’s time to die.

Virtuous persons who can overcome all obstacles will arrive at the Magic Pond and will be amazed at several magical creatures around the pond. Then they will encounter "The Tree of Truth", who will identify and determine which race in Tribhum they belong to.

The Fortress of Greed Illusion, an icy mythical forest, is where one has to prove how to overcome greed in his mind. If he passes, a mystical creature called "Winged Horse" will appear using its powerful wings to break the mysterious spell and bring that person back to where he belongs. Eventually, those “Mayura Ventai” family will bid the virtuous human a blessing farewell.

In addition, every evening in the Magic Forest, the "Kanthima", the guardians of the Inter-dimension Time Gate, will appear and lead everyone back to the beginning scene of the battle between the two mighty races. This show is a fantastic live performance with mixed media that features Thai puppetry and Projection Mapping Technique, which is the first of its kind In Thailand.

THE SILVER MOUNTAIN

The realm of the Great Garuda, the King of Birds, who resides in the Garuda Castle which is in the form of a stunning 360° Garuda Dome. From the gigantic dome screen, fill your eyes with an animated virtual competing search for the elixir water between the Great Garuda and the Naga King, a highly realistic sensation that will take your breath away. Then, it’s time to break through the "The Demon Maze", where the devil has eyed to capture the intruders as sacrificial victims on the dark moon night. All those who invade the Silver Mountain must escape from captivity in the maze by which, eventually, there will be just one survivor. Only one with the greatest virtues will arrive at the "Crystal Path" the path that challenges a brave mind before proceeding to encounter the King of Sky. Finally, experience the most thrilling ride on the “Silver Glider” that drifts around the Silver Mountain. The route is over 200 meters in length and over 20 meters in height.

THE UNDERWATER WORLD

In the mysterious Underwater World, there is “Mermaid”, a half-female, half-fish creature. Mermaid is friendly and helpful to humans, as they guide us into the Underwater World. For the first time in Thailand, visitors will get thrilled with the “Flying 4D Theater”, with an advanced propulsion system that brings us into lonesome depths of the ocean, and further to the forbidden areas. Additionally, we are proud to present our special showcase “The Thousand-Firefly Tunnel.” The spectacular sight of thousands of real-life fireflies which is the

success of a world-class research project conducted by Thai researchers. Then “The Adventure Cruise” will take you to the secret Underwater World. Be amazed at the mythical creatures that are attendants of the Naga King. Dive into the deepest part to witness the legendary fish “Anond” told in an ancient tale as the cause of the earthquake. Imagine how thrilled it is to get into the stomach of this Earth-size fish.

MakaleeCreated by the Tree of Truth, Makalee trees are at the forefront of the Magic Forest.While its trunk curves like a female body, it bears flowers that look like beautiful ladies.They always lure nearby adventurers with their enchanted charms and entrap themwith the tree forever.

KochasriWhen the droplet of elixir fell to Earth, two animals, an elephant,and a lion, accidentally flow along with it to the Magic Forest.Bound by the supernatural power of Tribhum, the two animals crossand transform into a new magical creature called Kochasi. Kochasi herds livealong the stream; they are friends with animal creatures from both worlds.With its vigorous strength, Kochasi is the guardian of the Magic Forest.

VanekampuA friend with all creatures in Tribhum’s three Worlds, Vanekampu, also createdby the Tree of Truth, is a monkey that dwells in the shell. Its duty is to watchover to protect the Magic Forest from invaders. With its fast-moving and sharpeyesight, Vaneekampu notices immediately of any dangerous movement and signals to other creatures. When they feel there is a strange living object moving around, the entire swarm of Vanekampu will roar and rock the Magic Forest.

Giant MareesA deer with a giant face, Marees’s bad behavior of trampling onplants hurts the environmental system of the Magic Forest.That is why he is cursed into stone and has to lie eternally on theforest ground.

One of the living creatures that are created to protect the Magic Forest,this amazing talking tree has many different voices. Its enchantingvoice invites those invaders to talk with and immerse in the conversationthat they forget how time has passed!

Blood Flower CaveTo reach the Tree of Truth, invaders have to walk through the BloodFlower Cave, the protector of the Tree of Truth. The Cave is full ofmysterious and scary things especially “the Poisonous Flower.”This beautiful flower lures its prey to come closer, then bites withits sharp fangs. The poison from its saliva paralyzes its prey to deadand decay later.

The Tree of TruthAt the center of the Magic Forest stands the Tree of Truth. It conjures up allliving creatures in the Magic Forest and helps maintain the equilibriumof Tribhum. Having eyes around its trunk, the Tree of Truth can predictand foresee every incident that occurs in the forest. Therefore, the Naga Kingand The Great Garuda both have high respect for it. And they are ready toprotect the Tree of Truth because if it breaks up, Tribhum will be disintegrated.

For any outside creature who wants to survive and settle down in the Magic Forest, the Tree of Truth will determine and select which race it should be with.

Wild Illusion and Winged HorseThe Wild Illusion is the guardian tree appointed by the Tree of Truth asthe last fortress that expels invaders away. With its charming colors andfantastic lights, the Wild Illusion casts an unconscious spell on invaders.The only way to dissolve the spell is to wake up the Winged Horse’s power,the guardian of the Wild Illusion. One has to bring the Illusion Rock to thesacred altar and the rock will then release the power. Once the Winged Horseis empowered by the rock, its vigorous wings will move and blow away the unconscious spell.

Mayura VentaiMayura Ventai is a mythical animal living in big families far away in the deepestpart of the Magic Forest. The magical power of this half-garuda-half-peacockanimal lives in its color and stunning beauty. It creates its nest from magic.When it dances, its spectacular and colorful tail would spread out widelyand brighten up the entire forest with its magical beauty. Mayura Ventaiis definitely the true beauty of Tribhum.

Kanthima

When the magic of the Tree of Truth is combined with the four elements in Tribhum,four gigantic birds were created – Kanthima Varee, Kanthima Akkhi, Kanthima Pathapi,and Kanthima Vayu. Kanthima birds carry gigantic baton while they guardthe Inter-dimension Time Gate, the gate that keeps the secret and deep conflictwithin Tribhum away from outsiders. Only the Tree of Truth that knows well whatthe truth is.

The Silver Mountain

The Great GarudaKing of Birds, the Great Garuda is the demigod who has beenblessed a magic wish that protects him from all nagas’deadly poisons and weapons. He not only can fly to heavenbut also has his castle there. He conjures up the Silver Mountainand builds his castle in Tribhum to stay and to hide the spilledelixir from all creatures especially the Naga, his vicious enemy.This is to cut the chance of any chaos that would occur fromthose creatures who get the eternal power. Apart from hisenormous strength and mighty wings that could blow the storm,the Great Garuda can excrete a dangerous fire that could burn everything in seconds.

KinnareeRenowned for her tender-hearted, Kinnaree has been blessed from the deityto transform her body into shining gold. Living in the Silver Mountain,Kinnaree is a half-bird, half-human creature who has been permitted bythe Great Garuda to eat golden leaves from the forbidden tree to boost herpower. Normally, these leaves are poisonous to other creatures who touchor eat them. Only Kinnaree could eat and take a bath in the magic pond so thatthe magical power will spread around and help other creatures that drinkthe water gains their power and strength. That is why Kinnaree is a friend to all

creatures in Tribhum except for only the one who keeps hunting for her. Bhayak VentaiThe hunter of the forest, Bhayak Ventai is a fierce creature whofrightens most of the animals in the Magic Forest. With its strongwings and fast-moving, Bhayak Ventai keeps hunting for Kinnareeas its favorite food so that it would get the magical power Kinnareegained from the Golden Tree. Bhayak Ventai always waits until thoseKinnarees come to bath in the Magic Pond. A time when they are not within sightof the Great Garuda, their Master!

The Underwater World

Erapatha and Virupak In Tribhum, there are two superior and powerful nagas. “Erapatha” has a jewel-beetle green color body. The other super powerful naga, “Virupak” has a white body. Although a powerful naga, Virupak is not as strong as Erapatha. Both can enter into all of the Under Water World zones, including restricted areas. When both heard of the elixir, Erapatha planned to steal the elixir before the Great Garuda reaches it in order to become the most powerful creature in Tribhum. Virupak, however, disagreed because it did not want to spark the war between the two races in Tribhum.

MermaidLiving in the Underwater World along with those nagas, Mermaid, a half-female,half-fish creature is a real beauty as she is the prettiest mermaid in the UnderwaterWorld. Kind and friendly, the Mermaid serves as a guide who brings visitors to the adventurous journey under the water. Secretly, she opens the front gate to themysterious Underwater World for visitors.

Payak MatchaThe left arm of the King of Naga, Payak Matcha is a half-tiger, half-fishcreature that guards the Glowing Forest. This wild and unfriendly creaturehas poisonous fangs and nails that turn a person into a rock when beingbitten by this wild creature. Payak Matcha was raised by Erapatha sinceit was a baby and until it grows up. Nera PhusiThe bat-like creature is very thin, has dry skin, sharp claws, and glowing red eyes.It has been enslaved and imprisoned by Erapatha when it sneaked intothe Underwater World. Nera Phusi hangs upside down and hides in thedark and scares an invader away with its ear-piercing scream.

Kraisorn NagaKraisorn Naga, a half-lion-half-naga, is the right arm of the Naga King.The creature has a naga-like head, and its body is covered with hardscales that serve as a shield. It has massive power with sharp claws andfins served as the fierce weapon. Kraisorn Naga can excrete the venom

the way a high-ranked naga does and the venom will burn the victim’sskin like deadly fire.

AnondThe mysterious fish in the legend, Anond, is extremely gigantic. At the back ofits body is an enormous mountain. Its fin looks like a stingray fin withthe earth and all continents on top. The creature has beensleeping under the earth and the seven oceans for centuries,carrying the world on its back. In Tribhum, when Anond moves,a real disaster; which can be an earthquake, huge waves, strong windor any disastrous event across the three worlds.

Wild Illusion In a gigantic glass pyramid, get enchanted with the Illusion Maze phenomenon through the use of Kaleidoscope techniques that is created by fusing Projector Mapping and Shadow Interactive technologies to deliver colorful virtual surroundings and illusions.
