12 Different Shelters Around the WorldHouse on Stilts in Asmat, Irian Jaya, Indonesia
While most people will know photographer Peter Menzel and his wife Faith D'Aluisio for their award winning book Hungry Planet: What The World Eats, many might not know that Menzel covers international feature stories on everything from the science to the environment. It's no wonder then, that in his earlier years, Menzel worked for National Geographic.
Photo.net has a great interview with Menzel where Menzel talks about his illustrious career. He openly discusses what's like to work with his wife ("If you don't get divorced or kill each other after the first few months, you might learn to like it") and tells us how the queen of daytime television, yes Oprah herself, came to impact his life.
