SLK ConfigurationUse the SLK configuration link in the application management.

Select the sitecollection*, add name of databaseserver and the instance (if you have a named instance like me)etc.. (* before configuring I created a sitecollection SLK(Assignments) with a subsite named Repository).

Activate the features in the sitecollection

Insert the assignment webpart into the assignment-site

USERSAdd instructors AND learners to the site(s) where the Assingment List Webpart(s) resides

Error? Grant Learners and Instructors also permission to visite, read the site

Don’t give learners access to the repository (sub)site

Stop the repository from inheriting permission from parent (explained later in this document)

Create SLK Group InstructorPermissions:- Read site- SLK Instructor (is later also granted contributor to the document library in the repository site)

Instructor can monitor this status. If necessary the assigment can be collected, the learner cannot make any changes thereafter.. as if this assignment is submitted by the learner

This is the view with foldersIt shows a folder per assignment and a subfolder for every assigned learner.

Learner folders are empty when the assignment is not started..

When a learner starts with his Assignment a copy of the assignment document in the repository is added with the learner name as the learner metadata to the dropbox. This learner also is granted the contribute permission on this document.. This is true until the assignment is submitted or the instructor collect this assignment.
