Faculty training programmes were organized for the new teachers to improve their competency levels

About 200 NCC Cadets Participated in the “World Voters Day” rally on 25.01.2016. Rally on prohibition of Methanol and Environmental protection was conducted on 13.02.2016. About 192 NSS Volunteers donated Blood through Various Hospitals in and around Dindigul. The YRC unit of our institution has conducted an AIDS awareness programme.

Criterion – V5. Student Support and Progression5.1 Contribution of IQAC in enhancing awareness about Student Support Services
IQAC facilitates dissemination of student support services through the following means. A detailed information about the student support services are provided during orientation programme on
the entry point itself for the freshly enrolled students. Notices are in related through general notice boards & departmental notice boards. Class room wise circulars are served based on need. Information are disseminated through periodical student’s council meeting.

Internal Test
Two Internal Tests, each carrying 30 marks, with an average of 15 marks are conducted. 5 marks each for Assignment and Quiz Programme are conducted. The above marks are averaged to 25 marks.
External Examinations
The Examinations are done based on the Madurai Kamaraj University norms.
6.3.4 Research and Development
Faculty members are encouraged to apply for Minor research project to UGC for financial assistance.
There is a separate research committee which monitors the research and development activites of the college.

Under the guidance of the Management, the Principal constitutes various committees to promote inclusiveness of staff members in planning and execution of activities in the college.
Each committee is being given specific responsibilities IQAC monitors the activities of the committee

Faculty and staff members are recruited as per the guidelines of the Government of Tamilnadu. Faculty and staff members are being appointed for the regular unfilled vacancies in aided posts
