Gibberd gallery

The gibbert gallery, which is an exhibition for everyone that could have a walk around and look at the different pictures that have been chosen to be in the gallery. The gallery sets of the exhibition in a certain way so then you have different pieces of work all round and the way they they have some work up on the walls hanging which then you can stand by to have a look. Also they have other work that is on the floor so then people and walk around and they are looking down to the work which then have different ways people are looking and then they also have work in the middle of the way you walk around. So for this it changes the way your looking at images as you could get closer to the images and the way that you have different level of images as they are presented which then also could change the way that it creates the effect on the view when looking at the image. In every exhibition there is a lot of space to walk around which then also they have time to look and feel the message of the pictures. Also they space them out so it don’t get to crowded and have a walk way that is only one way so

you can see everything image and you would have to think of people turning around. The gibberd gallery has many good exhibitions of work that they present the images. In this gallery, the way that the work has been presented changes the way that the views look at it. As there is work that is 3D and you can walk round it and see the different side but then there could be other work that you have to look straight on.

Tate modern- art gallery-David Hockney

The art gallery that is in London are a very big gallery, which has presented my different exhibitions for everyone to visit and look at the images, sculptures that have been created. From my own experiment of going to the London gallery, the way they have placed the work around the gallery, the have spaced out the work so it looks better as then you have space to look at the first picture and then can move on. I think the way that it have been presented its really effective with the way that the images have been presented on the way so its head height which then there are other images that are hanging down from and also some that are in the middle of the walk way which then you can getter closer to the image to then see and understand the meaning of the pictures and then even could effect you when beginning closer. Also the Tate Modern presents some work that is on the floor as well which the you are looking over the picture so then they have different levels of the images so then you can change the way that you are looking at the image. But what helps is that the colour of the background wall, as it then brings out the image bit more from the bright colours of the images. From looking at the gallery of David hockney below is a contact sheet of the images that I have shot, which I have tried to connect to the artists him self.
