The CPD Online system will allow you to book your own training and see what is available.

To book onto the online booking system you will need to register your details where you will receive an account login and password to use every time you wish to book your KCC Foster Carers training events.

This system will also allow you to be added to a waiting list and cancel your place if you are unable to attend.

Please follow the instructions below to register yourself on the system, search and book your training events:

The screen will show you all the training available for Foster Carers you can refine your search by looking for a subject such as Attachment or by date etc……

From this screen you can:

Request a place on the course Request a place on the waiting list if the course is full Find out more details about the course Print the event Or save it for later

The event administrator will then notify you by email if you are successful or unsuccessful in gaining a place.

View/Manage Your Event Bookings

You can view which events you have attended or are due to attend in your “My CPD Online” area.

To view events you are due to attend click on the ‘events due to attend and booking status’ link. From this page you can view the full details of the event by clicking on the ‘Show details’

link, download attached documents by clicking on the ‘Download documents’ link and check the status of the booking.

To view events you have attended click on the ‘events attended’ link. From this page you can view the full details of the event by clicking on the ‘Show details’ link, download attached documents by clicking on the ‘Download documents’ link. You can complete online evaluations and access your certificates.

If you are no longer able to attend a training course is it important to cancel your booking

To Cancel a booking click on the events due to attend tab within the ‘my cpd online’ tab then select the ‘cancel a booking’ link. On this page you are shown a list of bookings for upcoming events with the option to cancel a booking.

You will be prompted to fill in a cancellation request and this will be sent to the event admin.

To view the cancellation policy click on the ‘Cancellation Policy’ link, if you agree to this click the tick box at the bottom of the cancel request page

To view events you have saved click on the ‘saved events’ link. From this page you can view the full details of the event by clicking on the ‘Show details’ link, request a place on the event by clicking on the ‘Request a place’ link or remove the event from your saved events page.
