A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR MAIN STAGE PERFOMERS…

Tuena’s music style can be described as honest and thoughtful. Their song writing is well crafted with ideas deriving from life experience, culture and personal beliefs, interpretative to each listener. Tuena are known for their powerful and emotive performances, drawing in attention and providing feel good textures, rhythms, and atmosphere.

Hailing from Melbourne’s west, Billy Davis is a musical juggernaut in waiting. Already gaining support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, they also skyrocketed to the peaks of the Spotify Viral Charts (#3 in Australia, #4 in the US and #7 globally). Featuring up to 11 members when playing live, the band has been pieced together by the multi-talented band leader and chief-songwriter William Rimington (who also spends his time playing keys in Kimbra’s touring band). With their upbeat jams appearing as a breath of fresh air on the Australian (and international) music scene.

The VANNS began in 2013 at High School when Singer / Guitarist Jimmy Vann and drummer Lachie Jones casually threw a band together to enter a competition. After school finished, Jimmy and Lachie reached out to bass player Tommy Teiko to complete a tightly wound trio dedicated to developing a sound around their shared love of acts like Cold War Kids and Jeff Buckley. For Jimmy – The VANNS started as a party band that accidently got serious.
