Enhancement 3264 export to Excel includes <BR> tags within comments which Excel treats as a new cell When exporting a report to Excel, we now instruct Excel to treat report values with new line feeds as single cell. For example, if exporting an evaluation report with comments. if an reviewer typed in a few paragraphs, it would import into multiple cells into excel. Now it will import that comment from the reviewing correctly into a single cell.

Enhancement #1978: Project Based - Ability to hide the MatterID and ClientID from the end user interfaceWhen you link a work allocation system to a project based evaluation process. the matter IDs and Clients IDs are not useful to the end user.

Enhancement #9998 - Applicant Self-Identification Forms (this change was actually released in version 2015 Q1 B1)We have added the concept of Self-Identification forms to support the requirements of government contractors.After submitting an application, a self-apply applicant can be presented with screens like the following for:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Gender, Ethnicity and Race Voluntary Self-Identification of Veteran Status Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability (CC-305)(any custom form you produce)

You can enable any forms you wish… out of the box we include the first three listed above

Fix 3197 no way to batch convert index documents to textNew link on the manage page. This page was previous hidden from the user interface. Now that we have added support for bulk resumes uploading. It makes sense for a firm to upload documents now and then index them into the text search feature later. Click on “convert all Documents” to indext them all with a single click.

Fix 3203 applicant self-update schedule interview - mandatory required questions can be skippedThe self-update interviewer time slow section interface for end users now properly supports required fields. Previously, it was possible to skip the entire list of questions on the form by not editing any of them. Now.. if your interface includes any required fields/questions… the user will be presented with the questions FIRST.. before they are allowed to select any time interview time slots. If you have not created any required fields then they will jump directly to the time slot screen.

You now have the ability to create custom email templates for communicating with internal users at your firm regarding an applicant/application. Each email that is sent via this method is stored at the applicant level. Both admins and end users (committee members / interviews / hiring managers. Etc) can send ad-hoac emails. When an non-admin views the email log for an applicant, they only see the emails that THEY sent. From the configuration page.. click on User Defined Tempaltes

Define as many templates you wish. Includes fields about the applicant / application

From within an applicant, click on “Send an Email” (and/or view the log).Please note that you will only see the “Send an Email’ link if your process as at least one enabled ad-hoac email template, AND you are looking at the Application data (not the applicant data). Notice the little blue arrow beside the Office is pointing down.

1. Filter your receipt list by “interviews” “committee members”, etc… the drop down list of recipient types will be based on what data what this applicant is currently involved with.

This is a BIG change.. Many firms have asked for this.

We have moved all the “system” emails/templates into a single configurable area.This includes all system emails, the outlook interview appointment content, vCalendar file content, and the “Print Applicant Interview Schedule.”

o You can now edit the name of each of these template types.o You can create multiple system templates per type, based on “office” and/or [position | interview | screening | event] typeo You can set the priority of these extra copies of the templates.. so it’ll always send the correct one.o You can see at a glance which auto emails are enabled or not. o You can’t delete the default entries, only copy them. They will be used if there is not a match in the additional templates you add

for that type.

For example:You start off with an “all offices” / “all interview types” for the outlook calendar appointment content. You then hen create another for “New York” / “OCI” and set the priority for that to “high”, so that content will be used for that combination, otherwise it will use the default content.

orYou could only send interview reminders for a certain office and not others by creating custom templates per office and setting the default entry to Disabled.

Most firms will only need to use Link 3, But in rare cases, a firm might want to edit the sort order of the system template types to push all the ones they use most to the top of the list to make it easier to keep track of their customizations.

In this example below we created a new entry just for the London officeSo interviews in the London office will get one template while the rest of the firm will get the default template.In this example.. the “priority” of the new entry doesn’t matter because it is the only extra on (other than the default) added to that template type. The order of priority is: high – normal – low – default. Meaning, only when there are no matches from the extra templates, will the default template entry be used.

In this example below.. There are three new templates besides the default one. Since the highest priority is the interview of “Round Three”… This template will take priority over the others, including the one filtered for London. In other words, the system will first look at any “high” priority matches, then Normal, the Low the use the default.

In this final example.. If someone in the “_Toronto” office had an interview of type “Round One”... They would be matched with the third entry below, because it has a higher priority than the last entry, (which is a better dedicated for Toronto / Round One” So.. it follows that in the matching of templates, the priority takes precedence over the office/functional matching. Also… if they applied to “Toronto:”, “Round Three”.. Then they would get a random selection between #2 and #3, because this example is illogical. It would have been more logical to set #3 as “normal” or “low” to avoid conflict. So be careful of situations like this!

Enhancement 1775 re: email to hr about new self-apply applicants - add field for direct link to applicant info screen.We have added a new field in the daily email to recruiters when new applicants are added via the self-apply and/or search firm apply interfaces.. You can now include a direct link into the applicant’s profile page.

You now have more control over the branding and look and feel of the videsktop interface. We have introduced the concept to “Styles”, which are controlled by custom web code CSS files. Clients can customize their own CSS file directly or through a web based tool that will be introduced in the next quarter.

For IE browser 9 and above, we currently have three completed styles to choose from to give you an idea of what screen elements are not customizable.

So far, these Styles are only supported on the Configuration TAB and Dashboard reports.. We will be rolling out support to other modules over the next several service packs we will be replacing the default interface for viDesktop across the other modules by the end of 2015 Q2.

To change the style goto the configuration TAB and click on Company Info, then use the drop down list at the bottom.

On the top half of the screen you define the SQL programming task.. on the bottom half you define what event could trigger that sql programming to run.

The purpose of the 'Application Signer' field is to Sign Letters that go to the applicant.If that field is left blank or set to 'Admin', then the Letter Signer (Default) will be used.The client can simply leave 'Application Signer' blank and then any auto created correspondence will have the template default signer.

The link contains the 32 character applicant/application ID, which provides enough security to stop someone looking at records they don’t have the direct link to.

Enhancement 3057 set access to view evaluations to general report viewer access We have streamlined the settings to grant permissions for admins and non-admins to view / update evaluation data.

For recruit administrators, They first need to be granted access from the "Access -> admin" area.There is a "view evaluation" column there that needs to be set.

That will give them access to the evaluation status control where they will have read only access to the interview data. if they require more than read only.

They should be given admin access of the eval process to have full access (Figure 1, Figure 2).OR then you can go into the evaluation process and give them update / delete access within the "general report viewer access" screen

When looking for interviews.. if you have turned on the “outlook meetings” feature, where we send an natural looking outlook meeting request to the interviewer, you will see columns on this page for the outlook response of the interview and if the outlook appointment request has been sent. We have also added the ability to send reminders to the applicant from this screen.

You are now able to edit most of the details for an interview record, including changing the interviewer

When adding Interviews, you are now taken to a new screen with all the interview details displayed.

New on this page is “Interview Team” and “Interview Role” which are both drop down lists configured on the configuration area of the process. Both have no work flow settings.. They are optionally included to allow you to add additional information to reports and interview schedule details.

Also, if you are using the outlook meeting feature, you will see “interview response” which you can change if the interviewer has already verbally agreed to the interview or if you are adding an interview record from the past. You will also see an option to not send the interviewer a meeting request if you wish to send it later.

Adding a “team” value will display how is on that team. But the interview record is still for a single interviewer.

On the configuration page you will see the options to edit the “interview role” and “interview team” drop down lists.

We have moved the default “starts time” “duration” and “delay between interviews” settings from a user centric preference to the the Interview type configuration page.
