We will touch on previous knowledge of people who help us, and think about who else we can add to the list after being in this period of lockdown. The session will share videos of different people from our local community who have helped keep us safe. The children will be required to show their thankfulness through a display of a hamper for our delivery drivers who have been working tirelessly.’ Alternatively, you could stop the video when the teacher asks the children to create their own hamper. Here, you could discuss doing something nice for a ‘lockdown hero’, e.g. drawing a picture or making a card. Growing: 6,7,8! – making pairsWarm up: watch RL warm up video.Teach: what is a pair? Discuss. Can you thnk of anything that comes in a pair? E.g. socks. What else could we find that we could put into pairs? Go on a hunt (outside or inside) to find pairs of objects. Please find resource attached.

Extn: give chn a small quantiy of the same object, with an odd one. Encourage them to sort into pairs. Discuss the odd one out.
