For this activity, write about what you can do to celebrate Earth Day.

Some ideas: recycle your household paper, plastic, and glass, plant some flowers or vegetables in your garden, help your parents make a plant based meal, or pick up the litter on the street near your house.

Primary students:Write 1-2 sentences about what you can do to care for the Earth and celebrate Earth Day. Be sure to write in full sentences. Draw a picture of what you have written about.

Intermediate students:Write a paragraph with 3-4 ways you and your family can do your part to care for the Earth, and celebrate Earth Day. Be sure to use a topic sentence to introduce your ideas and write in full sentences, not just a list. Don’t forget to also include a concluding or closing sentence that wraps up what you are writing about. TIP: If you are stuck on a word, try to stretch out the sounds by yourself. Send your writing to us using email! We would love to see a photo of your work.
