ART - Year 7 Portraits Summer term (ALL WORK MUST BE OF A HIGH STANDARD!) Upon return to school, your Art teachers will be looking for a portfolio (collection of all your pieces of art work) which can be stuck into your sketchbook. You were asked to complete the following: By now you may have: a range of research/ drawings of eyes, lips and nose. have completed artist research on Lea Nahon or Vince Low. have completed a copy of either artist work have completed a self-portrait as a final piece. (If you do not have paper, be creative!! Draw on old receipts, post it notes, baking sheet paper, kitchen tissue, newspaper, cardboard box envelopes!!) Keep all the pages the same size. CHALLENGE: Create your own sketchbook. Look at Pinterest for some ideas on how to bind the pages together. Our Art department Pinterest page is artdept7488 Assessment criteria you need to cover: AO1. 2. Applying artist skills to your own work AO4. 8. A quality high standard piece - completed 1 st June Please work back into pieces that have not been completed or started. proportions of facial features are changed. Capture lots of detail and tone.
