German Kiln Technology GmbH (GKT) – Specialist for Refractories and Technical Ceramics(hall B1/ stand area 219/320; 325/426; 217/318)German Kiln Technology GmbH (GKT) was established in 2009,

with the goal to design and manufacture kilns for

refractories and technical ceramics. GKT engineers have

over 20 years experience building and installing over 100

kilns worldwide.

GKT specializes in the design and manufacture of

industrial kilns for all thermal processes in the ceramic

industry. The focus is on the high-temperature range,

energy savings, thermal after-burning as well as product

and firing process optimization.

The product portfolio includes, e.g., sintering lines and

industrial kilns for firing technical ceramics and

refractory materials, measurement and control technology

as well as control and process control systems, SCADA,

firing systems as well as automation solutions and

handling components. The discontinuous and continuous

kilns are mainly used in the refractory industry, the

automotive industry, in high-voltage insulator manufacture

and for producing technical ceramics.

The technologies produced in Hamm are supplied mainly to

China and India, but also to Italy, Brazil, Austria and

Germany; the export share is over 90 %. Among the

innovative developments is, e.g., energy-saving firing

technology for all industrial kilns. The company is

currently working on the further development of the ORC

system for an innovative energy recovery, which also

achieves a notable ROI for small industrial kilns with

ever-increasing energy prices. By using the heat recovery

process and particularly good insulating materials for

lining the equipment, the company is trying to manufacture

in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.

Together with our customers we find completely specific

solutions, which correspond exactly to their requirements.

While unravelling the details, one has the potential to

unearth ideas that result in revolutionary advancement.

We consider our customers as partners-in-business and

believe this to be the very base of yours and our success.
