“When I shop, the world gets better, and the world is better, but then it's not, and I need to do it again”

We all are very much aware how girls are mad about shopping. I have an obsession, a craving. When I’m feeling happy, I want to shop. When I’m feeling sad, I want to shop.

Shopping acts as distressing activity for almost all the girls on this earth. This one is from personal experience if you are feeling low then shopping can brighten up your day with all those colorful clothes, shoes and accessories.

I love the feeling of finding new deals on anything, love trying on clothes, purses, shoes, accessories, etc. I guess I can spend the whole day at the mall or markets just browsing around. But going with a friend is a must for me, I hate going alone, I need someone to talk with while I'm shopping. Especially in the case I found something really amazing, can't hide the excitement need to share immediately.

It is said that almost 90% girls take extra hours to buy one thing, no matter where they are shopping, in mall or on a street. To buy that particular dress we would be walking miles and miles, markets to markets, malls to malls and walking is one of the best exercises. It’s even more delightful when it’s accompanied by shopping. So it saves time and money that we might end up spending in the gym.

Sometimes I feel shop windows have some super natural powers to attract me. Although I very well know that they are doing this purposely. Recently lot of stores have been changed in to a concept store, the customer has opportunity not only to buy

physical products but also is provided with a full emotional and sensory experience. In addition concept stores predestination is to be trend follower. The assumption is that after all the touching and feeling, customers will be willing to spend more money.

And every time it’s not about clothes & shoes, shopping gives us an opportunity to spend more & more quality time with our loved ones. And a cup of coffee after that is just like icing on the cake.

I have people saying shopping is a waste of money but many a times we face a situation where we like a beautiful dress or bag but looking at the price we just can’t buy. This gives us motivation to earn more and more so that next time we are out for shopping we won’t have to compromise or be upset.

So please remember, shopping is not spending money and wasting time, it’s a beautiful experience. A dialogue from my favorite movie “Confession of a Shopaholic” - “I love new clothes. If everyone could just wear new clothes everyday, I reckon depression wouldn’t exist anymore.”
