EDUCATIONAL VISITSHalf or whole day, curriculum-linked activities that include: seasons, art, animal habitats, pond, river, bushcraft skills – shelter building and fire making. Sessions are designed for your own needs and requirements.
£180 Full Day for up to 30 children. £5 per additional child
FOREST SCHOOLMinimum of six half day sessions; building personal confidence, skills and learning at the pace and specific needs of the children. Contact us for more detailed information.
£540 for a programme of at least six half day sessions
CPD and TRAININGFor school and nursery staff, community and play workers. These sessions can help you to develop your skills and confidence and promote good practice outdoors with the people in your care.
£280 Full Day for up to 8 trainees. £35 per additional person
TEAM BUILDING & COMMUNITY GIVING These sessions offer a fantastic opportunity for companies and organisations to bring their workforce together to develop practical and team skills and also to give something back to the local community and natural environment.

NATURE CONSERVATIONPROJECTSWe offer design ideas and lead nature conservation projects including developing school grounds and community areas: for example; building ponds, creating butterfly gardens, planting trees. Whilst supporting people of all ages and abilities.

BUSHCRAFT Taster Days: For 8yrs and upwards. An enjoyable introduction to the basics: Using tools, shelter building, fire and food.Deeper Bushcraft and Fieldcraft: A more in-depth bushcraft & fieldcraft experience, focusing on particular themes such as tool or fire making and skills such as animal tracking, giving a deeper understanding of our place in the natural environment.
£240 Full Day for up to 8.£25 per additional person
YOUTH & COMMUNITY GROUPSThrough sessions and long term programmes we combine Nature Conservation activities and Bushcraft skills to contribute to personal development goals.

EVENTSWe run a programme of public events that cover a range of themes - Contact with and understanding the natural world, craft activities and seasonal events.
£5 - £10 per person depending on type of event
REGULAR FAMILY and YOUTH EVENTSWe offer age appropriate activities and challenges whilst enjoying being outdoors in the natural world.
Wildlife Wanderers for any age up to 8yrs with adults included - first Saturday morning of the month.£5 per child - 10am - 12 noon
Wildlife Rovers for 8 - 12 yr olds - first Saturday afternoon of the month£7 per child - 1. 30pm - 3.30pm
Wildlife Rangers for 13 - 16 yr olds - During school holidays£8 per child - Half day£15 per child - Full Day
Most sessions take place at Thornley Woods but we can arrange to come to your own or other sites too. There may be additional costs depending on site arrangements.
