APRIL 2021 Newsletter A Message from our Teachers Dear Preschool Families, Throughout March, we have been having fun getting reacquainted with traditional nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Perhaps you have noticed your child pretending to be Jack jumping over a candlestick or re- enacting Little Miss Muffet? Revisiting old favourites is a strong building block towards literacy. As your child hears a story repeatedly, they, too, develop the ability to retell the story. It has been a pleasure to share their enthusiasm over these ageless favourites! Virtual music classes with Ms. Tangle and Library Storytime with Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Lyndsey continue to be highlights of our monthly calendar. We are so grateful to be able to welcome these community friends into our classroom this way. Similarly, the PreK’s are enjoying watching our Empathy babies growing and changing! It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year already. Our two week Spring Break is around the corner, the first day of holidays being March 27 and we return the week of April 12. While we hope that all our students enjoy a relaxing break from school, we do encourage everyone to keep one another safe by following the AHS guidelines and we look forward to the return of longer days and continuing our celebration of Spring when we meet together again! APRIL 2021Newsletter

A Message from our Teachers

Dear Preschool Families,

Throughout March, we have been having fun getting reacquainted with traditional nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Perhaps you have noticed your child pretending to be Jack jumping over a candlestick or re-enacting Little Miss Muffet?

Ms. Carmen and Ms. Claire
