Object control – Overarm throwIf you are working inside I would recommend using sock balls or scrunched up paper balls.
Outside you might use a tennis ball or you could stick to your sock balls.Your target could be pictures on the wall or made from junk stacked on the floor.Just practise or decide how to keep score.
Start with hand high, opposite foot forward, eye on your target and aiming with opposite hand.
Balance & travel Create your own challenges inside or outside if you are able.
My indoor course has bottles to travel in and out of, boxes for jumping over, a blanket to crawl under and a basket to throw sock balls into. One of our lovely P3s and their parent created a brilliant one outside.Check it out on my Twitter page https://twitter.com/MrsMartinPECV/status/1254037301732298754
Sportshall Athletics – Standing long jump Can be done indoors or outdoors but on a soft surface like grass.
Make a start line and start with toes behind this. You will need a piece of paper, a pebble or something that won’t blow away outside.Bend your knees and swing your arms to jump as far as you can.Lay down your marker at your heels to see how far you have jumped.Practise and see if you can jump a little bit further, try to jump over your marker to beat your own distance. Challenge other family members to see how far they can jump.If you have a measuring tape you could record how far you have jumped in centimetres.
WalkingThese Walks are great to get you moving or keep you moving indoors when you are stuck inside. I do at least one every day and have got lots of my friends and family doing them too.Rocky is the leader for this one - www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0v_9hnrk4k
Joe Wicks posts a new work out each day www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybn_SO990goYou might want to give it a try, some of the moves are quite tricky but focus on having a go. If these are too tricky stick to the ideas above.
