Me, my school and my country About me? There is nothing special to say. My name is Naomie. I’m a sixteen years old girl. I was born on 1st December 1998 in Toulouse, a French town. Even if I was born in France, I come from a little island called Guadeloupe which is located in the Caribbean Sea. In fact we’re just “under” you, between the North and the South of America. I live in the countryside with my parents, my little sister and my little brother. I’m the oldest but not the tallest. I appreciate many things but I especially like to read and watch mangas. I don’t like everything and I can’t bear many things either. Like every “lucky” person, I have to go to school in order to make my future. I decided to spend my high school years in Jardin d’Essai. It’s a small institute where it’s easy to identify others. So, you can’t get lost there even if you do not know everybody. I’m in lower sixth and I will soon sit for my French exam. I must admit that I’m very nervous about it, but fortunately I can benefit from my teachers’ and my classmates’ help. When I first arrived at Jardin d’Essai, I was a little bit surprise when I realized that the Principal and Vice- Principal of my high school were women. Long life to the girl power!!! I believe that Guadeloupe is as important as any other country despite its size. First of all, one the best advantages of being in Guadeloupe is to go to the beach whenever and wherever we want. Indeed, we’re surrounded with water. If you have the chance to come to Guadeloupe, I advise you to go to Basse-Terre to enjoy its wonderful waterfalls. For sure, you will enjoy it! Besides, we don’t have to suffer from the cold because there is sun all the time.

Me, my school and my country

About me?

When I first arrived at Jardin d’Essai, I was a little bit surprise when I realized that the Principal and Vice-Principal of my high school were women.

Guadeloupe is a big mixed island. Indeed, you will find different kind of people with diverse origins. There is also a great flora and a great fauna in my country.

To my mind, Guadeloupe’s strength resides in our diversity and values.

This is the least I can say about me, my school, and my country!
