REMINDERS FOR ALL BUSED STUDENTS - (both in-town and rural) Students must be at their bus stop by the pre-determined pick up time. At each bus

stop, bus drivers will wait for two minutes before continuing on their routes. Drivers cannot wait any longer without disrupting other pick up times along their routes.

At the end of the day, the bus will leave the school five minutes after the bell. Students need to make their way directly to the bus.

Thank you to parents and students for their cooperation!

NICARAGUA VOLUNTOUR 2015

14 Clavet students will be travelling to Nicaragua to help build schools, plant crops, develop a safe water supply for communities, and improve the lives of those in need! Our journey to Nicaragua will include a trek into the mountains in the country’s southwest region, where we’ll live and work among some of the most spiritually rich people in the world. We will take part in grassroots projects in rural communities with our own two hands, helping to empower local families to improve the lives of their children through education. We are very fortunate that we have had a number of successful trips with EF Tours at Clavet and EF Tours has offered us the opportunity for a special incentive for our Nicaragua Voluntour Trip. Dear Parents,The Christmas Season is a time for family, friends and communities to gather together and celebrate! It is the season to love, support and show compassion for one another. Christmas is a joyous holiday but can be stressful for some families as some may be experiencing special circumstances or financial stressors that make it difficult to meet the demands of Christmas. This means a need for food, basic needs and gifts. Sometimes families cannot meet these demands alone. That’s where Cougar Nation is going to step in!

This year, our school is working together to ensure that all of our families are able to celebrate Christmas. Each grade is collecting enough items to supply a Christmas Hamper for one family. We invite all of you who are willing or able to contribute to a Christmas hamper to provide a food item, gift, or money donation. All the proceeds will go directly to support the families within our community. Different fundraising activities include:

1. Taco in a Bag – Grades k-12 - Almost $680 was raised2. Steak Lunch – Grades 7-12 – December 12th 3. Santa Photos – Grade k-6 December 16th and 17th

4. Santa Photos – Grades 7-12 – December 18th5. Christmas Banquet – Grades 7-12- December 19th - collection box provided

Thank you for your support!SRC
