Week of April 13 - 17Dear Busy Bee Families:
I had so much fun planning this week's lesson. Just thinking of the smiles the children will have doing the activities with their families this week, learning the new lessons, and
knowing that they will have those moments when they say, "Hey, I remember what a rhyming word is" or "I know what an author is" made me so happy. Finding special story
books for the children was especially fun for me. Books create the most wonderful way to build on a child's imagination. I, myself, never get tired of reading children's story book's. April is such a beautiful month. New life is all around us. God is really a wonderful artist!!
Our class has completed all of our alphabet letters, recognizing numbers 0-10, counting numbers 0-20, colors, and shapes. Please continue to review these with your child throughout the remainder of the school year. (The class was starting to count from 0 - 100, and the children really seemed to love doing this…especially when we got to 100!! ) We will also introduce simple sequencing. Our Units this week will be Weather and Farm Animals. Please let me know if you have any questions about this week's lessons. Happy Birthday: April 11 - Zuly This week's color songs are:
Blue for our Weather unit / Pink for our Farm Animal Unit
