หลกการใช infinitive with to ขอ 5 verb to be + about to + infinitive ใชแสดงเหตการณทจะเกดขน ในอนาคตอนใกล ( the very immediate future ) เชน

He is about to leave the house. มความหมายวา He is going to leave the house in a few minutes. เขาจะออกจากบานภายในเวลา 2 – 3 นาท

แต to be + just about to เชน He is just about to leave the house.

เขาเพงจะออกจากบาน

ขอ 6 to be + to + infinitive ( to be to = must )

แสดงคำาสง ( command ) หรอ แผนการ ( plan ) เชนHe is to return tomorrow. ( plan ) เขาจะตองกลบบานในวนพรงนYou are not to communicate with

anyone. ( command )
