Asset/Liability Management Reviews
In today’s economic and regulatory environment, asset/liability management is of the utmost importance for financial institutions. Measuring and managing risk pertaining to interest rates, liquidity and investments has become a greater challenge in recent years, and regulators are subjecting these areas of risk management to greater scrutiny.
To help address these issues, Weaver offers asset/liability management reviews. These reviews are intended to satisfy requirements established in the Joint Agency Policy Statement on Interest Rate Risk; the Interagency Policy Statement on Funding and Liquidity Risk Management; and the Supervisory Policy Statement on Investment Securities and End-User Derivatives Activities.
Our reviews are tailored to your needs, by focusing specifically on interest rate risk management, liquidity risk management and/or investment management. We offer recommendations to your institution to help ensure not only compliance with regulatory guidance but also where operational improvement can be made.
