Thanks for attending the Movie Night in June and LABA Luncheon in July. We are taking a break in August. Our fall programs will resume on Monday, September 10th at

10:30am. In September, our guest speaker will be Dr. Carreon discussing Senior Adult Wellness. We are having our annual Fall Celebration in October with a guest speaker, and in November, we will have Penny Davis from Plains Baptist Encampment speaking on her mission trip overseas. Dr. Sarah Herrington will be our guest musician in December singing and playing the piano for our Christmas program.

KIDZVILLE is for children ages Nursery to 6th Grade PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN WORSHIP: Sunday Mornings during 11:00 AM Service (Room 100) KIDZ CHURCH: During the summer months, Kindergarten-4th Grade will sit with their parents in Worship. This is an important time for kids to learn from their parents and adults during worship. Kidz Church services will resume Sunday, August 27th.

PRAYER FOR SERVICES: Leadership team members...Richard Gunkel, Traditional Worship Representative, and Angie Smith, Contemporary Worship Representative invite you to join them by signing up to pray during one of the Worship service times that you don't attend regularly. Our desire is to be in prayer for each other and our worship leaders while worship services are going on. We will have sign up sheets at the Navigator stations and in all Connection classrooms. After hearing God’s word preached this morning. I feel God is leading me to do one of the following:

I want to become a believer and follower of Jesus for the first time in my life. I admit I’m a sinner in need of a Savior, and I believe Jesus is my savior. I believe Jesus is God’s only son who died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. I believe it and receive it! I’m ready to follow Jesus all the days of my life.

I am a Christian already, but I’m struggling to live like it. I need encouragement and am open to having a mentor assigned to me by the Pastor or Staff for my spiritual growth.

I want to be Baptized! I am a believer and follower of Jesus, but I have not yet been Baptized by immersion.

I want to become a member of the church and am ready to attend the NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION CLASS! I would like the Pastor or staff to contact me with info.

BIBLE DRILL: Bible Drill for all 4th – 6th Graders This class teaches the books of the Bible, 25 Bible verses and 10 key passages all by memory. The information learned will last a lifetime.

You must realize that God loves you but you are separated from God by a sinful nature.

Roman 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

You must believe that God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ as a payment for sin.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Although humanity through sin has separated itself from God, the sacrifice of Jesus, on the cross, bridged that gap.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us.”

All that God asks is that you repent (turn away) from your sins and accept the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross for those sins.

Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
