• Children need a culture that is non violent

• TV programs should reflect a culture that is non violent

• Children from violent homes need guidance both in school and community

• Invest in non violent, public TV programming

• Invest in non violent fun video games

• Invest in a variety of healthy after school programs

Provide fingerprints and a photograph

Pass a thorough background check, including a check for misdemeanor convictions

Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the laws governing the use, possession, storage, and transfer of guns

Demonstrate a basic understanding of how guns work, including the use and limitations of safety devices

Licensing of Gun Owners or Buyers

Demonstrate minimal competence in handling and shooting a gun

Maintain current registration on all handguns owned
