We pay particular attention to creating and maintaining meaningful relationships and to fostering a sense of community. Our school is large enough to offer good facilities and a range of enterprising, sporting and creative activities to complement the academic curriculum. It is not so large, however, that students pass unnoticed or feel anonymous.

We expect students to develop a positive attitude to study in an environment conducive to hard work and high achievement. We expect students to maintain high standards of behaviour contributing to a harmonious school.

We aim to lead our students towards the mature self-discipline that is essential if they are to make the most of their abilities and talents.

What’s special

about us?

Take the best 8 grades and add them up to find the total points, then divide by 8 to get the average.

Capped Average Points Score

Example: The best 8 grades for a student (including English and Maths) are 4 Bs, 3 Cs and a D.

Total Score= (4 × 46) + (3 × 40) + (1 × 34) = 338

Average = 338÷8 = 42.25 average points.
