You’ll build presentation skills, master advanced technologies, and study branding and licensing.

SFIT’s major areas of study are both academic and practical, balancing
theoretical study with hands-on learning in labs, studios, classrooms,
and real-world internships—all built on a foundation in the liberal arts. This
“think-and-do” blend makes FIT graduates valuable in the workplace from day one.
The typical college experience lasts four con-
tinuous years and ends in a bachelor’s degree.
But at FIT, we divide those four years into two
years plus two years (or “2 + 2” for short). Why
the unconventional pathway? Because each of
our two-year programs offers its own educa-
tional focus, awards its own degree, creates
its own career direction, and builds its own
foundational study of sciences and human-
ities. Most students continue their academic
studies immediately after earning their AAS
and finish in four years. Others finish their
AAS and opt to put their career-based degree
straight to work. Then—if and when they’re
ready—they continue their studies at the time
that’s right for them.

the Korean government and Incheon Metropolitan City. SUNY
Korea was established in 2012 as the first American university in
Korea through the combined effort and investment of the South
Korean and U.S. governments, the State University of New York,
and Stony Brook University. It is also SUNY’s first global campus
outside of the United States.
In 2017, FIT became the second SUNY institution to offer degree
programs at SUNY Korea. Classes are held on the Incheon Global
Campus in Songdo, Korea’s only “smart city,” which is becoming
Northeast Asia’s economic hub. The campus features state-of-
the-art facilities, classrooms, a library, research labs, a sports
center, auditorium, multicultural activity center, dining hall,
dormitory, and guest house, among other amenities. FIT’s location
