Initial Concern Owners saw an opportunity to start a full fledged and integrated movie production company, however they were hesitant because of the significant investment and high risk. They had no previous experience in the industry but they saw a growing potential in the Middle East

What we did We designed the business model so every department becomes a profit center hence ensuring multiple revenue streams and we outsourced most of the expensive talent and ensured the expensive assets are rented when not in use internally

Results Within 6 months, the company produced the first feature movie and was commissioned to produce 4 documentaries and another feature movie. The assets (cameras, studios, drones, etc.) are rented out on a continuous basis. Revenue for the first year reached $2 million

Initial Concern During 10 years, the company suffered a stagnant 2% growth which impacted the overall value of the company and prevented it from going through a IPO transaction. The company had over 900 SKU which 500 generated less 13% of the revenue

What we did After assessment of the existing situation, we re-focused the company, through a growth driven PMO, on the profitable SKUs and those that are able to grow. We then re-designed the sales approach and relationship with sales channels with better utilization of the factory and logistics.

Results Sales grew 22% within 13 months and the company went public at 16.7 times the earning, one of the highest in the industry

Initial Concern The department was facing significant challenges in receiving and processing applications for welfare recipients. The challenge was so complicated that the union has threatened to go on strike. Employees were overwhelmed and could not deliver the required service on time.

What we did After assessing the current situation a decision was made to overhaul the entire application processing and delivery of services through the implementation of customized application that would receive applications, generate recommendations for the social workers who will confirm and approve the casers on the spot.

Results Agreement not to hire more social workers and speed up of the application processing from 15 days to only 3 days
