the regulations for companies in terms of

For the typical year end accounts job we would cover the following as appropriate for the
type of business:
-Post final trial balance
-Ensure all control accounts are balanced including banks, debtors, creditors, VAT etc
-Post all required journals including depreciation, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset additions /
disposals and other year end adjustments
-Review profit and loss account and make sure that any unexplained material fluctuations are
investigated
-Analyse tax sensitive expense headings
-Review financial statements for any anomalies
-Analyse all movements on directors loan accounts and agree them
-Ensure that the accounts are in accordance with the correct legislation
-Prepare the file in enough detail that if the file is investigated by HMRC we have all of the
information to hand for a swift response
-File the accounts at Companies House and the CT600 with HMRC within the necessary deadlines
