↕ CALL TO WORSHIP
This is the day which the Lord has made!
Gathered here in the name of Christ our Lord, we
rejoice and we are glad in all God has made.
God has made us, too, and crowned us with glory and
honor.
With great thanksgiving, we give praise to God!
↕♫ HYMN #482 “Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty”
↕CONFESSION OF SIN
Most merciful God, hear us now as we confess our sinfulness before you and each other. Though we have consumed much, we have hungered after that which does not satisfy. Though we say we want to do what is right, we have compromised with evil. Though we say we trust in you, we have doubted your power to save us.
Forgive our lack of faith; have mercy on our weakness. Restore in us such trust and love that we may walk in your ways and delight in doing your will.
(silent confession of sin . . .)
Lord, hear our prayers. Amen.

PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION
Eternal God, in the reading of Scripture may your Word be heard; in the meditation of our hearts, may your Word be known; in the faithfulness of our lives, may your will be done. Through Christ, Word of Life, Amen.

We give to you, we give to you.
We lift our voices, we lift our hands, we lift our lives up to you;
We are an offering, We are an offering.”
