Team Rynkeby is a European charity project which cycles to Paris every year to raise money for children with critical illnesses.

The project was founded in 2002, when 11 amateur cyclists associated with the juice company Rynkeby Foods decided to cycle to Paris both to enjoy the exercise and to watch the final stage of the Tour de France.

The participants collected sponsorships for the trip, proving so good at it that there was money to spare when they came home. The money was donated to the children’s cancer unit at Odense University Hospital – and a tradition was born!

Since that first trip, the Team Rynkeby Foundation has raised more than EUR 55 million for children with critical illnesses.

Become a source of support for children with cancer

Together with Team Rynkeby, your company has

the opportunity to take responsibility in the battle

against childhood cancer and become a source of

support for the children.

All sponsorships go to childhood cancer

organizations in either Denmark, Sweden,

Norway, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland,

Germany or Switzerland. Most of the money is

spent on research into childhood cancer which in

the long term can improve treatment for children

with cancer.

All Team Rynkeby participants cover their own

expenses, while the central costs of the project

are covered by Rynkeby Foods, God Morgon and

hohes C in collaboration with the organisations

that receive money in each country.

Thus all contributions – large and small – go to

the organisations that the Team Rynkeby

Foundation partners with.

Platinum sponsor

As a Team Rynkeby – God Morgon platinum sponsor,

January 2020. After this date, it is no longer

As a team sponsor for Team Rynkeby, you

Every fifth child with cancer does not survive

Most of the money raised by Team Rynkeby goes towards

research into childhood cancer.

The sad fact is that one in 450 children will be diagnosed with

cancer before the age of 15 – and one in five of them will not

survive. This makes childhood cancer the most deadly disease

among children aged 1–15.

And it doesn’t end there. A good half of the children who

survive cancer live with long-term side effects, including

impaired concentration, amputated limbs, infertility and

severe brain damage.

More money is needed for researchTo ensure that more children survive cancer with fewer

long-term side effects, more research into childhood cancer

is needed.

The Team Rynkeby Foundation supports research into

childhood cancer through local childhood cancer

organisations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the

Faroe Islands, Iceland, Germany and Switzerland.
