We are entering a very tough last quarter period, with the emergence of political issues rather than the economy Unfortunately, already dealing with terror this year, Turkey has faced a coupt attemp event which is one of the biggest betrayal in Turkey history and has tried to overcome the effects of this. I hope we will leave these problems behind us from now on and we will continue walking to reach bigger objectives.

Now, we’re looking to the future as AGT and as our industry. Despite all the adversities happened, I believe that Turkey’s economy which proven itself will go on attack in the following years.

As AGT, we have continued our work restlessly regarding doing business in Turkey as well as exportation during this term. All exhibitions we joined abroad, including USA, improved the recognition of our brand, and made a significant contribution to our market diversification goal. With the supports of The Turquality Program, we know and see that all export activities we do bring great benefits not only AGT brand, but also country’s economy.

Accordingly, we are happy to activate our sales offices in Iran and Dubai in order to be closer to the customers and to track the dynamics of the market.

We started the first “Flooring Master Training” program in our country in order to gain speed to flooring sales and raise the perception of AGT in the eyes of customers. We know that this is an important investment for our brand and it would be a decisive criterion for AGT preferences in the future.

We Kick Off Total Productive Management

Within the scope of campaigns we organized for our domesticvvendors, we have completed our visits of August Month.

We thank once again for the participation of our stakeholders who participate in the tours under two seperate packages as United States of America and Italy.

Within the scope of TPM (Total Productive Management) process we started in April , our TPM “Kick Off” Opening Ceremony occured on 4th August where Our Board members attended .

After speeches of Board Member Mehmet S. Söylemez and Production Director Kurtuluş Topaloğlu laying emphasis on the importance of the decision to start and the continuity of the process. Our TPM consultant Türker Bozunoğulları gave examples about the success of the companies that implement the TPM process in our country and around the world. Bozunoğulları started to talking by thanking to the senior management of AGT for giving value to its personnel, he wished success to all our friends in the process.

After the speeches, participants passed cocktail section and Autonomous Maintenance Team began preparations on Sander Machine in order to do cleaning and placing cards activities.

We celebrated all together the first production performed by the melamine formaldehyde reactor completed in recent months . We congratulete all our friends who worked devotedly during the process.

Firstly can you tell us about yourself and your company?

Our company was founded in 2004. Except small manufacturing activities, our main area is marketing. We continue our operations with our active six branched throughout Kazakhistan, two distributors and more than three thousand active dealers and customers In addition, we do cargo transportation from abroad to Kazakhstan.

The backbone of our business is sales and distribution of aluminum profile accessories, PVC profile accessories, furniture materials, furniture accessories. Besides being a distributor of well-known companies such as Asaşpen and Erpen, we are working with the AGT in the wood. also we are in cooperation with more than twenty companies in Turkey regarding accessories. We can say that we are one of the few companies in its own sector in Kazakhstan.

Can you tell your story briefly how you met with AGT?

Even before we work with the AGT, we were working with some companies from the wood industry in Turkey. Some friends working on behalf of AGT came to Kazakhstan and visited us. We decided to work together. Firstly we purchased one or two trucks of our actual needs as a trial. Then we completely decided to work with the AGT.

Can you evaluate the year 2016 in terms of your company and your industry?

There is no doubt that the global economic crisis worldwide is also affecting Kazakhstan In addition, the embargo applied by the European Union and America to Russia is concerning Kazakhstan directly or indirectly.

Economic crisis in Kazakhstan began in 2013 with the crisis in Russia and stillcontinues. Entering the last quarter of 2016, our hope is that the economy returns in normal market conditions and our trade accelerates.

Can you give some information about the state of the sector in the region?

As you know, Russia is the world’s largest wood and wood products manufacturers. As I mentioned above, price advantage returned to Russia due to economic crises. However, product quality of Turkish goods, especially in terms of AGT is having high quality. Looking at from this angle AGT products have advantage in Kazakhstan. The quality-conscious of the people is further developing day by day.

We wish that AGT makes production in Kazakhstan in the medium and long term. However there is no company which will be able to compete with AGT in this region.

What are your suggestions and views for us to provide you better services?

We are working with the AGT in the last two years. We have completed the process of a recognition of each other as partners. After thisprocess we aim to cooperate in actively. Kazakhistan is the heart of Central Asia, the Almaty is Kazakhstan’s commercial heart. Taking this into account, we wish AGT starts production planning in Kazakhstan in the medium and long term.

” THE MIDDLE OF CENTRAL ASIA:

KAZAKHSTANSpreaded over a large area in Central Asia, Kazakhstan, as well as throughout history, an important crossroads in the Eurasian region today. Russia Federation take place in its North and West, China take place in its East, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan take place in its South. 6467 km border between Russia and Kazakhstan, is the world’s longest land border. It is the world’s 9th largest country with an area of 2.724.900 square kilometers of land, rich in natural resources.

Although Kazakhstan is stable and rapid developing country; transition from socialist economy to market economy and transition from socialism to liberal democracy in politics has not been easy. 50% contraction in the economy in the first years, capital failure, hyper-inflation and high unemployment, poor infrastructure and underdeveloped technological heritage made it difficult to produce in the short term solution. However, in the economy the presence of rich natural resources, in the politics the regulations brought by 1995 Constitution, has helped to overcome the difficulties. In Kazakhstan largest petroleum, uranium, iron ore, gold and lead reserves are directed to economic development and about 160 billion dollars in foreign direct investments achieved in the territory of Kazakhstan. The last 10 years the average growth of 8% in Kazakhstan, per capita national income of people increased from 700 Dollars to 12 Thousand Dollars. Finally, Kazakhstan was awarded to host EXPO 2017, which is shown one of the most important international organizations of the world, in the capital Astana.

The first capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty, is the largest city in the country with a population approaching 3 million. Also being the most beautiful city in Central Asia, Almaty is said to be an attractive culture and tourism center.

The history of the city of Almaty goes up to 1000 years B.C.The first farmers, came here and settled on those times. Later then, starting from the 700s of years B.C. Sakais came. A lot of monuments from Sakai has been brought to light in archaeological research held today. Especially,”Golden Man” clothing is very famous in Issyk Eairn. Being on the Silk Road , the city showed great improvements,in the Middle Ages and turned into an agricultural and commercial center. The name of the city is called “Almatu” in the book written in 13.th century. However, in the following centuries the Silk Road routes changes and the city is entered a standstill period.

The effects of the transition to a free market economy is quite evident today in Almaty. High investment projects for Building & Construction sector and international fairs have significant potential. One of the major components of the furniture industry representatives, AGT is looking after the Antalya, the city which AGT was founded in 32 years ago; continues to make investments in the material and spiritual. The Taking Strenght From Their Hearts Project, planning to educate the vulnerable children living in Homeless-houses as leaders of tomorrow, starts on October 11 in Antalya, Turkey. Within the scope of the the project sponsored by AGT, which always feels people to accompany with Antalya with its social responsibility activities ,a team combined by university students and taking responsibility in YGA Leadership Program and graduates of YGA will stay two days in Antalya and contribute to the education of vulnerable children to become a role model of leaders.

Selected from among 50,000 university students, trained over 250 hours and worked 750 hours on social responsibility projects 20 YGA volunteers will provide training to vulnerable children in the subjects of Leadership Workshop, Blim Software, Renewable Energy prepared by YGA Advisory Board, under the leadership of Prof Dr Doğan Cüceloğlu. After 10-week-long training , at the “Read Think Share “ Camp YGA Volunteers will meet vulnerable children in Istanbul and they provide children an extraordinary camp experience.

Focus Point of AGT is The Youth

The AGT aims youth since the time it is founded with the scope of social responsibility activities. Believing that young people has an important role in the country in the future, AGT signed with Doğan Cüceloğlu in order to increase the young people’s personal awareness and to help them clarify their future goals. Cüceloğlu, has traveled to “8 Town, 8 Universities, 8 Interview” in Turkey under AGT sponsorship. The project began in 2012 and performed meetings in 8 universities and it continues meeting with young people in other cities in Anatolia.

AGT also founded the first communication publications libraryin Turkey in Akdeniz University Faculty of Communication in order to encourage youth developing in their field. Communication Library, implemented under the sponsorship AGT, hosts communication, art and culture publishes so far in Turkey along with content publishing periodicals. Starting with the idea of “The future of the nice country is also to be nice” AGT is experiencing the joy of presenting a book filled world to young people.

Each year more than 50,000 from 200 universities apply to YGA. After 5-stage interview selected 50 people, Receive training from a team of people including Prof. Dr. Doğan Cüceloğlu Ahmet Bozer, such as Aziz Sancar also senior managers academics, artists and scholars in the YGA Leadership Program.

We welcome, inspector experts from the Turkish Standards Institute in our facility.

At the end of a week in which surveillance audit in OHSAS TS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification audits and ISO 9001 Quality Management System, we are awarded the OHSAS certification.

We congratulate all of our friends working self-votedly throughout the process.

The first party change of our contract-ended vehicles took place in the month of July. With the support of our Procurement Department, a new contract is conducted and in the contract, and an upper segment automatic transmission vehicles were selected.The second party of our vehicles change will be held in January 2017.We wish the best for our company.

We thank our work friends Kenan Ayverdi and Gürcan Saygın who noticed the fires in Dobbstad hut and in front of the hazardous waste depot loophole and prevented the fire expansion and provided the fire put under control.

There are also naturality in the surface trends of 2017 People prefers colors, surfaces or objects, emphasizing on naturality in which they live and the things they use in order to escape the ambiance of the artificial and stifling virtuality created by the digital media environment in the cosmopolitan city. In an environment where returning to natural and naturality is searched, register series are coming to the fore in the natural surfaces.

It’s not just a fashion or a trend, natural environments coming to the fore emcompassing the architecture. Before the Feast of the Sacrifice, we came all together with our colleagues. In three different meetings under the shift times program, everybody congratulated each other’s bayram and asked well wishes.

Opened by Hilmi Beken, that will serve’self service ‘ between 07.00 - 18.00, the Cafe provides varieties of Starbucks coffee, cold drinks and snack food varieties.

Combined with the attracting attention and distinctive and vibrant colors of the table and chair groups, AGT Cafe, makes it possible for you to spend good time with your friends on your break hours.

In the tournament where 64 of our friends are challenged, at the final first cup match, Oguzhan Selcuk beated his opponent Ramazan Avcı with 3-0 score and get the first rank trophy. M. beating took. Third place game played between Tolgahan Türk and Ramazan Arslan. Tolgahan Türk, was third in tournament . Our friends winning the tournament took their prizes from the Management Board members hands.

In September, with the presentation of our education consultants Bahar Soykam Remzi Kaygusuz, we did presentations and workshops on how we can more efficiently use the time with 25 experts and engineers involved in the different departments.
