"Tractors, Tractors & More Tractors" - June 25, 2015 (Thursday) **Second coach has been added!

This trip is a day to learn about Iowa's many hidden treasures! Beginning with the John Deere Tractor

Assembly Plant in Waterloo. The plant assembles 95 to 450 horsepower tractors in one of the most

environmentally sound production facilities in North America. We will begin with a 15 minute video on the

history of John Deere and ride on a trolley through the manufacturing plant. This is wonderful, easy tour which

has been recently changed. (No open-toe shoes, cameras or cell phones allowed). A buffet lunch will be eaten

at River Loop Public Market Cafe followed by a visit to the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum which has

just recently opened. This new museum tells the story behind the development of engines and tractors and why

the John Deere Company came to Waterloo. Hear the stories of men and women who have worked at John

Deere and how they have contributed to the evolution of the tractor.

We then travel to Dunkerton, Iowa to see a collection of the finest antique & vintage tractors, steam engines and

gasoline engines in the Midwest owned by Kenny Kass. His collection is one of the top five in the United

States which includes prairie tractors from the turn of the century, Aultman-Taylor, Russell and the rare Rumely

Oil Pull Tractors. An additional building houses collections of old clocks, calendars, farm & kitchen tools. He

is excited to share his collection with our travelers!

Our evening meal will be served at Barn Happy which is a 1925 renovated dairy barn decorated with Iowa

handmade gifts and made in Iowa food products. The upstairs houses antiques that complete the nostalgic Iowa

experience!

Join JH Travel for this cruise performing great country hits along with your favorites from the 50's to the

present time! Be sure to wear your best "Bib & Tucker" as our theme for the day is "Let's Go Western"! It will

be Nashville on the river with these familiar songs played "Folsom Prison Blues", "Crazy", "Hey Good

Lookin'", "Ring of Fire" and "Boot Scootin' Boogie" just to name a few! Don't forget to bring along your

dancing shoes because you will be dancing, clapping and singing along to your favorites! Might even be some

line dancing! Y'all sign up now, ya hear!!!

Once we begin our cruise those "yummy" sticky rolls will be served and before long their wonderful buffet will

be laid out for lunch. After we disembark the Celebration Belle our Hawkeye Stages coach will be awaiting and

our theme continues at our evening meal at The Coffee Cup Cafe in Sully, Iowa for brisket, potato salad, baked

"Shear Madness" - August 5, 2015 (Wednesday)

The Old Creamery Theatre invites us to this unique comic-whodunit which takes place today in the "Shear

Madness" hairstyling salon. During the course of the action, a murder is committed and the audience gets to

spot the clues, question the suspects, and solve the funniest mystery seen on stage. The outcome is never the

same, which is why many audience members return again and again to the scene of the mayhem.

This is a matinee show with our premium seating which will be followed with an evening meal at the

Ronnenburg Restaurant located downtown Amana with all of favorite fixings'! Bring your detective solving

abilities and get ready for a great time!

"Tea Room Trip" - August 11, 2015 (Tuesday) **Trip is currently full and a waiting list has begun

Ladies! Join JH Travel for a fun-filled day of discovering, eating "yummy" food and meeting new friends!

Our day begins with brunch at Mrs T's Mercantile & Tea Room at Vincent where we will be greeted with egg

casserole, muffins, fruit and a very interesting story about the Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus! This

unique tea room houses a quilt shop in the front of the store and a tea room with a wooden facade in the back

where our brunch will be served. A hands-on project will follow (I promise it is much easier than last year's)

that will be fun to make! We will then depart to travel to Tea Thyme at Sadie's in Ft. Dodge where we will have

a style show and a display of perfect accessories for your fall wardrobe! Quick hints on changing from summer

to fall decorating will follow. Lunch will be served followed by some "retail therapy" before traveling to the

Community Orchard outside of Ft. Dodge. Although early in the fall harvest of apples we can watch the

machine that peels 80 apples at a time, a tour displaying the making of apple cider and visit the bakery as well

as time to visit the gift shop. We then travel onto Jefferson for some free time and our evening meal at Angie's

Tea Garden before returning back to Newton.

"Red Skelton - The Legend Continues" - August 27, 2015 (Thursday)

Join JH Travel for a very entertaining afternoon with Mr. Tom Mullica! Tom is the only performer in America

authorized by the Red Skelton Estate. Red Skelton gave Tom permission to use material from Red's long

running TV show which brought these famous characters to life as in: Clem Klediddlehopper, Freddie the

Freeloader, Gertrude and Heathcliff and Guzzler's Gin! Our premium seating is awesome at the Old Creamery

for this matinee show! Following the show our evening meal will be at PHAT Daddy's in Marengo before

traveling back to Newton!

"Quilting with Jenny Doan & MSQC" - September 2, 2015 (Wednesday)

Join JH Travel for a day of traveling with friends to see the most up to date quilting options available where a

quilter can shop by collection, shop by style or shop by designer which is at Missouri Star Quilt Company in

Hamilton, MO. The company is family owned and has purchased many of the closed stores in this small town

and remodeled the empty buildings to accommodate the many fabrics & choices they offer. The newly opened

retreat center is an awesome addition to the community.

Our highlight for the day is having a trunk show with Jenny Doan (only the JH Travel quilters) at the MSQC

Retreat Center which is scheduled from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Jenny will begin with several different quilt blocks

as she explains the different quilting techniques as she does regularly on her many tutorials. Bring along your

questions and discover the world of quilting!

Lunch on your own follows the show with shopping until 4:45 p.m. at which time we will depart to travel to

Bethany, MO for an evening buffet meal (included) at Toot Toot's. We then board our Hawkeye Stages coach

to continue our trip back to Newton with fond memories of our day in Hamilton! Hope to have you join us for a

day of discovery at the Missouri Star Quilt Company!

"Back Roads Amish Tour" - October 2 & 9, 2015 (Friday) **Limited reservations available for both days - call soon!

Due to the popularity of this trip we have added a second opportunity for travelers to join us to learn about the

Amish and if you enjoy "YUMMY" food than this is the tour for you!

We will be having a morning break on our way (on your own) to Oelwein where we pick up Deb, our step on

guide for the day. Our first stop is a "must" on our tour as we stop at the Boulevard Bakery where all the

baking is done without electricity. Next is a visit to Helmuth's Country Store which offers a large variety items

which are purchased by the Amish. All along our route the step on guide will be describing the Amish life,

traditions followed and life as an Amish person. A tour of Iowa Vinyl Windows will be next where William

will show our group around his shop where he builds windows of all styles. Lunch is at Anna's Bakery

(included) where our lunch will include all the Amish favorites as in chicken, meatballs or meatloaf, mashed

potatoes & gravy, homemade noodles, salads, vegetable, homemade bread & jam and dessert! We are hoping

to visit an Amish School (tentative) which will depend on our schedule as well as the approval of the Amish.

Pine Grove Store is next to be visited which was the very first Amish store ever opened to the public in the

community. The making of furniture will be shown at the next stop which is at Raber Furniture Shop. The

guide will then be dropped off and we travel to Barn Happy (included) in Cedar Falls for a light evening meal.

"War Eagle Craft Fair & More" - October 14 - 17, 2015 (Wed - Sat)

Join JH Travel as we visit the Ozark hills of Arkansas as they come alive with the sights, sounds and aromas of

craft fair time!

Our first day will be a sit, back & relax day in the comfortable Hawkeye Stages coach as we "leave the drive up

to the driver". Visit with friends or make new ones as we ride along! Upon arrival at the hotel and check in, a

meal awaits our group. Get a good night's sleep as tomorrow will be a busy day!

On Thursday our group will visit the War Eagle area which actually have three fairs at the mill area which are:

War Eagle Mill, The Sharp Show and across the bridge is the War Eagle Fair Show. Professional craft men &

women offer original, handmade work such as country decorative items, folk art, watercolor and oil painting,

pottery, stoneware, wreaths, potpourris, dried arrangements, quilts, miniatures, country clothing, wearable art,

candles, homemade soaps, furnishings, antique china jewelry, bird houses & feeders, collectibles and much

more! These juried participants come from across the United States. After departing the craft fair we have

reservations at Razorback Pizza before arriving at the hotel for a free evening.

On our third day after a hot breakfast buffet we will visit the Mildred Cooper Memorial Chapel (upon

availability) which is positioned on a wooded hilltop and is made from a combination of wood, stone, and steel

Day # 2 – September 16Amish Country TourAfter an included breakfast at the hotel, you are in for a full day of touring. Your Amish guide will take you along the Backroads of Northern Indiana. Learn about this unique culture and its people and visit a carriage maker, a camel farm, a casket maker and the Stone Horses. You will also have time for shopping and lunch on your own at the famous Shipshewana Flea Market. Whatever you need, you can find it here. Day # 3 – September 17Jayco Tour, Ohio MysteryBreakfast is again served up for you at the hotel before departing for a morning tour of the Jayco Manufacturing Company in Middlebury, well known for their campers, travel trailers and fifth wheels. Following the tour, you travel into the state of Ohio for a two-night stay in the capital city of Columbus. Tonight you have a specially arranged after-hours tour of the Ohio History Museum followed by Dinner and a “WhoDunit” Mystery Show at the Museum. (B,DS)

Day # 4 – September 18Columbus Zoo, Irish TreatsWake up in Columbus and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Next you have admission to the Columbus Zoo and a special presentation by America’s Favorite Zookeeper, Jack Hanna. You will also have time to talk with him and take photos. There will be free time to enjoy the many wonderful exhibits at the Zoo as well as lunch on your own here. This afternoon, travel to the nearby city of Dublin for some Irish treats, starting with High Tea at Birdie’s Coach House. You will then have the chance to take part in some Irish Dance Lessons at Richens-Timm Academy of Irish Dance. Before leaving Dublin, enjoy dinner with an Irish flavor at the Irish Manor House. Day # 5 – September 19Ohio Amish CountryYou can partake of breakfast at the hotel before boarding the coach for a drive eastbound into Ohio Amish Country. Your first stop will be Warther Carvings in Dover, Ohio. See the exquisite train carvings, the Tree of Pliers plus a Swiss style gardens and a button collection totaling more than 73,000 pieces. A local guide will join us for a Backroads Tour of Ohio Amish Country that will include stops at a Bakery, a Cuckoo Clock Maker and the very unique Superb Industries.Tonight you will be treated to an Amish Family Style Dinner and an Amish Country Comedy Barn Show before overnighting in Dover. Day # 6 – September 20German Village, Aviation ParkAfter breakfast at the hotel, you return to Columbus for a visit to the Candle Lab where you can create your own candle. That will be followed by a guided tour of Columbus’s German Village and lunch on your own at Schmidt’s German Restaurant. Return to the Lab to pick up your candle then travel west to Dayton, Ohio. Here we stop for overnight accommodations and a visit to the Aviation Heritage National Park where you can see the 1905 Wright Flyer III and a Memorial to the Wright Brothers. After checking into the hotel, you travel a short distance south to enjoy dinner and a Broadway- style show at the La Comedia Dinner Theatre. (B,DS)

Day # 7 – September 21U.S. Air Force MuseumAs expected, breakfast will be served for you this morning and before we leave the Dayton area, we will take you to the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It features more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles that reflect the development of aviation from the Wright Brothers to the present. We then leave Ohio and travel into Indiana and a stop in Lafayette. Before checking into the hotel, we will take you to West Lafayette on a guided tour of the campus of Purdue University, one of the nation’s leading research institutions and a member of the Big Ten Athletic Conference. Day # 8 – September 22Fair Oaks DairyYour final day of this very special travel experience begins with breakfast at the hotel. Travel a short distance north to Fair Oaks, Indiana and a stop at the Fair Oaks Dairy. Home to 32,000 cows, the Fair Oaks Dairy adventure includes a guided tour, interactive exhibits and a wonderful Visitors Center. See the birthing barn and the cheese factory. Day 1 – Monday, March 14, 2016 San Diego, CATransfer to the Des Moines Airport early this morning for the flight to San Diego and a pre-cruise overnight. Transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the afternoon and evening at your leisure.

Day 2 – Tuesday, March 15, 2016 Cruise DepartsRelax this morning at the hotel or do some touring on your own in San Diego. This afternoon, transfer to the port and board the ms Maasdam for the start of your cruise. After checking into your cabin you can explore the ship as it sails from San Diego. All meals on board, beginning with dinner tonight and ending with breakfast on the final day of the cruise, are included. (D)

Days 3 & 4 – Wednesday, March 16 & Thursday, 17, 2016 Cruising the PacificFor the next two days you can get better acquainted with your ship and enjoy the activities onboard as you cruise southward along the Baja Coast of Mexico. Day 5 – Friday, March 18, 2016 Puerto Vallarta, MXYour ship docks in the Mexican port of Puerto Vallarta this morning. After enjoying breakfast onboard, you can depart for an exploration of this very popular Mexican Beach resort. Your ship sails later this afternoon. (B,L,D)

Day 6 – Saturday, March 19, 2016 At SeaThis will be another day of sailing on the ms Maasdam, traveling

Day 8 – Monday, March 21, 2016 Puerto Quetzal, GuatemalaThe ship docks in Guatemala’s largest port city for a full day of adventure and touring. That might include a number of nature themed tours or maybe a zip line adventure. You sail early this evening. (B,L,D)

Days 9 & 10 – Tuesday, March 22 & Wednesday, March 23, 2016 At SeaAfter two full days of touring, you can now relax and enjoy the amenities of the ship as you sail toward your encounter with the Panama Canal.
