Update on Non-RTC Controls• WSPS worksheets revised and submitted.• Ramp up for EJ

– Time spent learning about the NGAO system design and coming up to speed on scope of controls system required.

– Work on requirements management impacted the controls effort. This has now decreased to a small manageable effort and others are using the requirements management system.

• Draft of initial system context block diagram produced.– Still needs some work to incorporate and interconnect subsystems outside

of AO and Laser. Working with DLM and others to update and complete.– The diagram identifies the major controls modules required to implement

the NGAO system.– Will be used to guide the remainder of the non-RTC controls design effort.

• Next steps:– Block level design of individual control modules– Revise the functional requirements
