Thanks for joining us today where I share ideas dear to us and recent work with you. Im grateful for this opportunity my insight.

I have organized this presentation into three segments, Story, Ideas and 2 Projects. Ask questions at any time.1

Story

Architect since 1992Came from Denver, practicing in large firms working on large scale commercial and instutitutional projectsRelocated home to Vermont in 2001Began work with Maclay Architects

Commercial

Had opportunity to contribute extensively as Director of Design working with Bill with numerous values driven companies like Seventh Generation, NRG Systems, State of VermontAward winning projects, leading edge of green design, community building and place-making.3

Institutional

Always seeking to solve challenging design problems while creating and sustaining a rich sense of place, long term energy efficiency and beauty.4

Planning

In middle 2000s had some unusual opportunities helping visionary clients to help plan ecological warm water, cold climate whole life resorts.

Also worked on Smart Growth Vermonts New Models for Commercial and Industrial Growth design charrettes and final report5

Residential

That care for place-making connected to the environment and natural systems extended into residential work with Bill and now today with my own practice and collaborations.6

Now for some ideas and emerging I and others are thinking about7

For the last ten years while Ive been involved in designing and bring into the world state of the art green buildings and sustainable places.

Ive worked on a number projects fortunate to win awards for being best places to work and building great cultures

Starting in 2010 and continuing today, Arocordis Design continues this focus on Work, Workers and Workplace8
