WEF - Grants

Awarded once a year to provide immediate support to programs within Waverly Schools

Applications due 1st Friday in January

• Gifts that Keep Giving (books, equipment, reusable items) – goal of high return on value to as many students or students in need as possible

• Do NOT cover consumables (food, incentives, transportation, salaries, registrations) or any on-going/solo funding or individual

WEF – Scholarship & Grant

Steiner Bolhouse Scholarship & Grant presented each year to now 2 graduating seniors who have demonstrated an understand of the importance of community service

• Applications due May 1st

• $500 Scholarship for each student

• $500 Grant for approved Waverly School Program of student’s choice • Past examples: Spanish National Honor

Society, Track Team, National Honor Society, Destination Imagination, PALS, Relay for Life, High School Choirs, Student Senate

$500 pledge (payable over 4 years, initial $50 required)

Receive President’s Club Card for free admittance for you + 3 family members to most Waverly Community School sponsored event for life (games, plays, musicals, etc.)

Donations are tax deductible and for Waverly Schools employees can be deducted automatically from paycheck
