Lustre Crete

Lustre Crete is a high quality, water repellent, penetrating membrane, that when applied and fully dried/cured, develops into a strong, durable, flexible and breathable film coating which adheres tenaciously to clean bare concrete surfaces, render and masonry. It is a non-flammable, odourless, penetrating coating that will dry to a clear attractive satin finish.

Lustre Crete was developed to protect today’s decorative concrete surfaces and to provide the same protection to plain, grey concrete. Lustre Crete provides a tough breathable membrane coating, making surfaces more stain resistant.

Lustre Crete helps to maintain cleaner surfaces and preserve the original appearance of the treated surface for a much longer period of time. Lustre Crete prevents the penetration of water, liquids and other contaminants into the treated surface. Lustre Crete is an excellent waterproofer that will improve fungus and mildew resistance. Lustre Crete also significantly retards efflorescence while imparting significant additional resistance against freeze-thaw damage, such as cracking & spalling.

Lustre Polish is an easy to apply, high solids coating designed to enhance Lustre Crete. It will increase Lustre Crete’s gloss level to extremely high gloss with the more coats applied. Lustre Polish can be buffed between coats for an even higher shine. Lustre Polish can be applied to such surfaces as concrete, vinyl bench tops and vinyl flooring. It will keep floors looking new without the need for a continuous maintainance program. Non yellowing, fast drying and is easily removed with a floor stripper. Lustre Polish is non flammable, odourless and environmentally friendly.

1 100 Dull N/A Floor has little if any reflectivity.

2 400 Low Sheen 40-50 From a distance, floor will start to reflect images from the side. Floor has a whitish or cloudy appearance.

3 800 Shiny but 50-60 At a distance of 10 to 15 mtrs, the floor slightly reflects from side to side. Floor starts to cloudy shine, but has a slightly fuzzy appearance.

4 1500-3000 High sheen 60-80 Looking straight down on the floor, it with clarity clearly reflects overhead and side lighting.

The floor is very shiny and looks wet from a distance.
