Can Wake County ReallyWake Up If They Are NotPaying Any Attention toWater Quality ThreatsUpstream?

James M. Adams and Billy Ray Hall are wellknown for stealing every dime for ten years in arow of the NC State and Federal Environmentalfunds for water quality in Pamlico County. TheBay River Sewer/River Dunes Scam exceeds over$20 million in Pamlico County and includes theBay River Sewer to South Granville Water andSewer Nitrogen Credit Transfer that threatenedover 340,000 people in the Neuse River Basin.Adams even scammed the NC Taxpayers with theGum Thicket conservation easement to make hisdown payment on the property. Just as the McQueen Campbell and ErskineBowles environmental & developmental scams arediscouraging donations to the schools, so too isthe bad press of environmental injustice anddevelopmental scams at NC State, UNC, Duke andECU turning off recruits and parents.

Most notably are the out right lies of DukeProfessor and ex Clean Water Trust Fund DirectorBill Holman. Holman collaborated to cover up theBay River Sewer/Gum Thicket Scam through theUNC Sea Grant program. Holman’s constantpitching of the Bay River Sewer/Gum Thicket/River Dunes Scam for James M. Adams hasmembers of the “Iron Dukes” foaming mad.

Not only isBill Holman’shead on thechopping blockfor pitching thescam rightalong side Gov.Beverly Perdue, the thought of aphotograph of aDuke Professorbeing hauledout of theN i c h o l a sSchool by aSWAT team offederal agentslike thosee s c o r t i n gAndrew Young a few weeks ago to testify at theFederal Courthouse for federal misuse ofenvironmental funds is not pleasant. But, the wordout in the environmental archenemy communitiesDuke Nicholas School President is going to be onthe street for not dismissing Holman before now.

After a phone call from the Nicholas Schoolasking for more information from WaterfrontSportsman and a personal meeting with PresidentChenis to discuss the Bay River Sewer Scam andmy personal request to dismiss Holman, he hasnot been available for comment. The Iron Dukesand Alumni are stuck with Holman lying,

Chemises covering it up, and Labcorp BoardMember and Duke Medical School Senior ViceChancellor R. Sanders Williams M.D. in themiddle of the Burlington/Labcorp/Synagro SludgeSpreading Scam.

Duke basketball fans can only picture theCameron Crazies pealing off thousands of greent-shirts printed with blood stains to represent thesick and dying people from the duel pandemics ofthe toxic water in North Carolina. There is no wayfor Duke to escape the disgrace from the CleanWater Trust Fund Scam stealing the money whilepeople are dying and the Burlington/Labcorp/Synagro Sludge Spreading Scam. The very real

image of a homegame nationallytelevised onESPN with DickVitale calling thedepth of the t-shirts on thecourt thrownonto the floor bystudents indisgust willfinish off thesmug bunch ofpipe smokers.

If Holman,Chemises, andWilliams are notgone byb a s k e t b a l l

season, Waterfront Sportsman interns will be theregiving them out.

Meanwhile Roy Williams will be the first to kickthe tails of the lawless UNC Attorneys JimmieHicks and Scott Thomas for covering up the allthe dead people down east. And I know TerryHolman at ECU will see to it that ECU Phd.Richard Spruill will never step foot on ECUUniversity property ever again for creating all thephony data for PCS to cover up the deaths for theUniversity Health Systems and the false aquiferlabeling scam.

What would the Cameron Crazies do if they really knew the truth about theirfaculty’s involvement in facilitating environmental injustices?

P r e s i d e n tObama isdefinitely ayoung man in ahurry. Maybeit’ s as SatchelPaige warned,“Don’ t lookback forsomething maybe gaining onyou.” Could itbe the truth andthe emerging facts on the fallacies of the Obamasweet talk? Are people beginning to appreciatehow this administration’s socialistic approach isencroaching on democratic ideals and threateningto kill off capitalism?

In Guantalemo, President Obama promised toclose that prison before he had some place to sendfolks. After apologizing and making nice to a lotof folks with whom our relationships have beenquestionable, have we gotten space for two dozenalleged enemy combatants? Is this a president whopromises much and is having problems deliveringon substance?

Panicking over emerging bank failures andplanting in folk’s minds the silly notion that somebanks are too big to fail, Obama and hispredecessor decided to bail out the banks. Nowwe watch banks hoard their booty, foreclosurescontinue to rise, and unemployment ballooningupward. Could it be time for some accountabilitylike letting fail those who lent more than peoplecould pay as well as allow a loss for those whoborrowed money they knew they couldn’t repay?

Who should fail and who is worthy of a bailout? First banks, then housing and now outcries fromstudents and every conceivable segment of societywithout any substantive relief for those fewremaining tax payers who have to foot thesebills. Do you truly think there are enough richfolks without deductions to pay for all this? Whatare we doing for taxpayers and those future

Time to Act Right cont. next pg

During the hottest part of the day, everyone andeverything seems to be holed up somewhere toescape the hot July heat and humidity. But at nightall across the nation’s rural areas, there is a stir-ring.

Driving back country roads at night can be ad-venturous at best and danged near dangerous atnight. There is always the fear of deer dartingacross your path, so the locals know to slow theirspeed in certain places where deer frequent.

As per the Farmer’s Almanac, full moon namesdate back to Native Americans, of what is nowthe northern and eastern United States. The tribeskept track of the seasons by giving distinctivenames to each recurring full Moon. Their nameswere applied to the entire month in which eachoccurred. There was some variation in the Moonnames, but in general, the same ones were currentthroughout the Algonquin tribes from New En-gland to Lake Superior. European settlers followedthat custom and created some of their own names.Since the lunar month is only 29 days long on theaverage, the full Moon dates shift from year toyear.

The Full Buck Moon - July is normally themonth when the new antlers of buck deer pushout of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. Itwas also often called the Full Thunder Moon, forthe reason that thunderstorms are most frequentduring this time. Another name for this month'sMoon was the Full Hay Moon.

generations who are surely going to bear thisburden?

Then there was rush to pass a stimulus bill ofmore than 3000 pages. We were told the sky wasfalling and we needed to hurry up and dosomething before we understood the truth aboutthe paltry economic stimuli in the proposedpackage. With less than a third of the money spentto date and new projects drowning out the needfor repairs of our infrastructure, Nancy Pelosi andHarry Reid may have their railway for the shortdistance from Nevada to California, but the restof us are going to have to walk over the long haul. Isn’t it interesting that whatever relief is scheduled, doesn’t truly begin until time for the 2010elections?

Now in the biggest scheme to socializemedicine, Nancy Pelosi lied in proclaiming theAMA support for the Congressional HealthCare Reform Bill. I didn’t think the AMA hadlost its collective mind, so I’ve read the details oftheir April 13th letter which supports the conceptof Obama’s eight principles; however, they areclear in asking for reforming the insurancemarket, establishing antitrust reforms forphysician groups, easing medical liabilitypr essures, adequate reimbursement forservices, etc. which are definitely not covered inthe health reform bill. And neither the AMA norCongress seemed overly concerned about who’sgoing to pay the bill.

Obama is a master politician who not only istaking early advantage of his popularity, exploitingthe unwillingness of people to criticize for fear ofbeing called racist or in the case of blacks disloyal, and the anticipated reelection fall out in 2010. As attention is focused on the nuts and bolts ofhis rush to legislate, some call it the madmanapproach. I call it the Pabulum Surge for like achild in a tantrum, he’ll throw things against thewall and hope it sticks. When you go to clean upthe mess made, you realize you can’t let him havehis way.

Will the adults and statesmen in America, stepto the plate, demand that Congress read bills beingproposed and come home to town hall meetingsto hear what folks think before a vote is taken? Ifyou are going to do something, then let’s get itright the first time with representative input fromconstituents and truly understand what we aredoing.

short arm sales to falsify land value and appraisalsto steal money from taxpayers and harmed parties.

The latest scam is James M. Adams and BillyRay Hall using Clean Water Trust Funds to fundsewer improvements to the over sold, problematic, and antiquated Franklinton, NC sewer treatmentplant. The plant is upstream from Neuse River/Falls of the Neuse and the new intake for southFranklin Water supply. All this is for Adams toprofit from dumping more questionablecontaminates from a poposed paint recyclingbusiness wanting to relocate in the Sterling Millsproject.

With dead and sickpeople all over the statefrom toxic water damagedby Adams, it is time tostop James M. Adams andBilly Ray Hall creatingdiversions like signs in thewrong towns and acrossthe street from what isreally going on andcontinuing to allow NorthCarolina’s Madoff of theEnvironment to steal more Clean Water TrustFunds.

Having seen Madoff ’s $50 billion Ponzi schemeunfold on national television with the WhistleBlower telling the Feds he was a farce, many lives

were ruined but no one died because of the moneywas stolen. These are taxpayer’s fund Adams andHall have and are being stolen.

Madoff and his family moved money and assetsaround trying to hide assets.

With confirmation of notices ofmismanagement and misappropriations thatdirectly benefited James M. Adams and RiverDunes Partners from the NC State and LocalGovernment Commission in the NC StateTreasurer’s Office, confirmation of aninvestigation of James M. Adams, River DunesPartners, Cubeta and Hall at the NC State Auditor’sOffice, a Federal grand jury convened on

environmental anddevelopmental corruption, and both North CarolinaSenators calling for openCongressional Hearings onwater quality, a growingnumber of US HouseMembers wanting all theanswers and where all thewater quality money hasgone.

With an evergrowing taxburden and what looks like a permanent deficitbecause of rampant corruption, in order to protecttaxpayers and harmed parties, it’s time to seize allof Adams and his partners’ assets until allinvestigations and hearings are complete.

WFS highly recommends that park visitors abstain from getting into the water since thereare serious water quality issues resulting from the sludge spreading practice and muncipalmismanagement.

Once considered an areawhere the spring waters cured"whatever ailed you", theClif fs of the Neuse State Parkis visited now for differentreasons. The area is known forits cliffs rising above theNeuse River and for its humanhistory of the ancientTuscarora and Saponi Indiantribes. Plant and animal life isalso abundant in the park.

The North Carolina StateParks website offers a searchfeature for finding the plantsand animals that can be foundat each state park. Using thedrop-down menus, you canchoose a park and either anamphibian, bird, reptile, mam-mal, fungus, insect, or vascu-lar plant. You can searchwithin each group by family, scientific name, orcommon name. There are photographs from thestate parks and fun facts for some of the species.

Rangers hold regularly scheduled educationaland interpretive programs about Cliffs of theNeuse State Park. Educational materials aboutpark have been developed for grades 6-8 and are

correlated to North Carolina’s competency-basedcurriculum in science, social studies, mathemat-ics and English/language arts. The Cliffs of theNeuse program introduces students to basic geo-logic concepts, including geologic history, fossilsand prehistoric life, and erosion. Accompanyingthe program is a teacher’s booklet and workshop, free of charge to educators.

Each state park and recreation area has an EELE(environmental education learning experience)curriculum guide that includes on-site activities,pre- and post-visit activities, student informationpages, worksheets, fact sheets, vocabulary, andreferences. You can receive a free copy of an EELEby attending its corresponding workshop at a park,or you can borrow these guides through interli-brary loan at any public library in North Carolina. The EELE for Cliffs of the Neuse State Park is“The Cliffs of Time” for grades 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Big Business Plus CheapPoliticians EqualsFleeced Taxpayers

As law suits of Camp Lejeune harmed partiesare expected to be filed almost daily and bothNorth Carolina US Senators are expected to callfor Congressional Hearings, US House Membersfrom other states are expected to call for their ownhearings. The US House hearings are expected tofocus on broader claims than just the 1 millionpeople exposed to toxic water within the CampLejeune base and include all toxic water issues inNorth Carolina.

While North Carolina legislators over the yearshave been slow to put light on the subjects of toxicwater and loss of land, citizens, veterans, Marines, and Coast Guard members from all states are nowcoming forward who served at Camp Lejeune,Cherry Point, and the Coast Guard Stations inPamlico County and Carteret Counties with claimsof sickness, deaths, and property damage.

The questions that are going to be asked are‘who did what to cause a pandemic of sickness? Why is the land sinking? Who knew or shouldhave known?’

The PCS Phosphate mine has caused subsidenceas far as 200 miles and extreme subsidence withina cone of depression within 75 miles and certainofficials are sure to be called to testify to explainthe dewatering of the Castle Hayne Aquifer at arate of 78 million gallons of water per day.

With reports from Duke University detailingquestions as to the value of Weyerhaeuser Forestbecause salt water intrusion and subsidence,Weyerhaeuser officials are surely going to havesome hard explaining to do about theirdevelopment business unloading swamp land ontothe taxpayers of North Carolina.

Real estate agents and appraisers in a numberof counties never disclosed the toxic water orsubsidence even though it was commonknowledge. The realtors even ignored that the landwas being lost to subsidence in the area and thatpeople were dying.

Banks also ignored the toxic water, the resultingsubsidence and even partnered with slick buckdevelopers to deceive consumers.

But the strange bed fellow in the conspiracy tocover up toxic water and land loss has been DucksUnlimited with the Attorney General Roy Cooperand the Dept of Justice partially funding nearly40,000 acres of duck impounds to cover upsubsidence.

The conspiracy by Ducks Unlimited, realtors, bankers, Weyerhaeuser, and Roy Cooper ledbuyers to believe that the duck impounds wouldenhance property values. If the truth that the duckimpounds were created to cover up subsidence wasdisclosed, then no one would have bought theswamp land.

With less than 300 hundred acres of duckimpounds located in a few inland counties nowhere near the coast and North Carolina notappearing on the list by the organization nationallyin the top 12 priorities, there is no justifying DucksUnlimited funds used to protect lands that werealready under water and could not be used fordevelopment or farming.

Rainfall & ConsumptionHere it is the middle of summer and besides

our great state’s illustrious elected officials dukingit out on Jones Street in downtown Raleigh overhow to divide a very small budget pie, most of usin NC are very much aware of another deficit -one that is a more critical issue, not enough rain.

We need rainfall to replenish our lakes, riversand streams. We’re talking about our growingpopulation’s dependence on drinking water.

The drought from just the other year has allbut receded, leaving us memories of dried uplakes. Municipalities went into panic mode intrying to rein in consumption.

It certainly did increase public awareness ofwater conservation. It also raised some questionsabout the future outlook on water availability andalso the quality of water going to consumers.

Did we learn anything? Today’s society has avery short memory, as a general rule. We seepeople taking the recent lessons learned aboutwater conservation still being applied but for themost part, we still see a lot of people not beingmindful of our water supplies and beingconscientious about keeping our water as cleanas possible.

WFS has a few tips...1. Use those rain barrels if you got ‘em2. Don’t pollute our waterways3. Instead of doing a raindance, just wash your

car. That always brings the rains on.

WFS has Matthew McKinney of Hope Mills, NCin our thoughts and prayers.

Eating Food That’s Not

ContaminatedAll of us at WFS and the EIC all agree that one of the

biggest looming crisis mankind faces is the assurance offood that is safe for consumption. It’s always been a giventhat contamination can happen in the process of harvestinga crop and the path all the way to the dinner table. Butnow we now have to go beyond that and look at the cropgrowing in the ground, getting water for nourishment.

So, Don Yelton and Dale came up with the ‘good sealof WFS approval’ that labels food grown in sludge-freefields and not being nourished with reuse water. We couldnever figure out the sense behind food being labeled‘organic’ and sold at higher prices if sludge was used forfertilizer or the crop was irrigated with reuse water.

A lot of people have pointed out the obvious problem- that retailers and restaurants right down to the farmers, and everyone in between, will protest loudly because it isa huge, seemingly impossible task to change how weproduce our food stocks.

It’s always been about the bottom line according tothe bean counters of the supply chain. But in the longrun, it could prove much more cost effective to change inthis respect in lieu of the long term cost associated withincreased insurance and medical cost out of control.

Alkaline ionized water is by far the healthiest wateravailable today. Decades of scientific and medicalresearch have gone into its developement. It is producedby an in-home machine that first filters and then ionizestap water. This process splits the water into its alkalineand acidic parts. The alkaline water is used for drinking. It has tremendous hydrating and antioxidant qualities, due in part to its smaller water clusters and abundanceof extra electrons created by the ionization process.

On the second daywhen he saw me with the buckets in my hand, he came runningfor the water. During the next three days, they drank threetimes as much water as they normally consume.”

Hwy 306 is known to the locals as ‘Toxic Hwy.’ It goes from Havelock to Bayview andPCS Phosphate Mining operation is right there in Aurora. It’s a straight shot from CampLejeune to Norfolk.

Shortest Distance Between Points A, B, C, D, E & F...

and All Within 160 miles of AuroraWar is dirty and yes, there are always sacrifices to

be made for the greater good. That cannot be disputed.During all countries’ wartimes, the environmental

impact has always come in last on the priority list ofobjectives. Here in the US, it was common place towash chemicals and detergents into the oceans, rivers, streams, etc.

But when it comes to disposal of a hefty amount oftoxic and hazardous waste material, where do you sendit?

Turns out that a central location was needed betweenNorfolk, VA, Jacksonville, Goldsboro, Fort Bragg,Cherry Point, and Raleigh and a landfill at the PCSPhosphate Mining operation was the hub of the wheel. All are within 160 miles.

Disposal of toxic materials prior to the inception ofthe EPA can be forgiven, but everything that has comeand gone on afterwards is inexcusable. Most folksagree that EPA was created with good intentions butquickly found itself floundering in treacherous depths

of how bad things really are in ourenvironment.

It’ s easier to put a wimpy lil’bandaid on the gaping wound andjust look the other way. Well, anyone with any horse sense willtell someone that gangrene willeventually set in and the whole limbwill rot off.

Native eastern North Carolinianshave told us of big cement mixersbeing driven off into a gaping hole.Rumors of whole train cars loadedup with something being drivenright off the rail spur, into a gapinghole.

And locals have told us storiesof government transport vehiclesriding up and down the ToxicHighway, some taking the ferries tocontinue on their road trips.

That might’ve been the very firsttime that an understood policy of‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ came to bewithin our military andgovernmental agencies.

But the results of the easysolution of waste disposal hasfinally caught up with all of us. Itmight have been the easiest andcheapest answer but it certainly hascost us and future generations tocome a whole lot more.

Our environment is beingdestroyed, our water is still beingcontaminated.

And there are still people gettingsick, and there are still people dyingout there from toxic water.

We Need Everyone’s Help Because

the Government Sure Ain’t Getting the Job Done

Dr. Robert Bullard is considered by many in theenvironmental ranks to be the Father of theEnvironmental Justice movement. He is the Directorof the Environmental Justice Resource Center at ClarkAtlanta University.

And he responded in email detailing to me that ifthe Feds or FEMA ever came in to actually deal withthe toxic water issues, they would muck everythingup for decades to come, if not even worse. Case inpoint, look what happened after Hurricane Katrinawhich Dr. Bullard serves on the Board overseeing therecovery from the effects of subsidence merging witha major hurricane slamming into the eroding andsinking coastline.

One only has to remember the outrage and disgustwe all felt at seeing the news reports of displacedhurricane victims being exposed to unacceptable levelsof formaldehyde in the FEMA trailers. Talk aboutadding serious insult to injury!

Given more money to the people who continue toscrew things up has never resulted in anyenvironmental improvements anywhere in the US.Asking the people to fix their own problems that spanover the full term of bureaucrats’ careers guaranteesfailure.

New solution driven objective entities need to takecontrol to protect everyone and our environment.

So, here’s the deal with how WFS is going to dosomething pro-active for toxic water and propertydamage victims.....

Many men go fishingall of their lives without

knowing that it is notfish they are after.

~Henry David Thoreau

Congrats to June,

the People’s ChoiceWell, it looks like the Constitutional Law was

upheld this week regarding Judge Hobgood’sruling on June Atkinson’s suit challenging Gov.Bev Perdue’s very unwise move of appointing aCEO of Education to include a hefty salary.

When our Madame Governor created this newposition to circumvent NC’s electedSuperintendent, most folks recognized it for whatit really was....a move for her to clear the way tosteal the Lottery money that is supposed to go toNC education budget.

Atkinson took offense, talked to Bob Orr, wentto court and stood her ground.

What Bev didn’t count on is that taxpayers andpublic servants alike, especially all our hardworking teachers, would scream at the top of theirlungs ‘foul.’ How unfair and more importantly howdisconnected our leaders are regarding theirreckless decisions flying in the face of logic andreason.

Voters will remember this episode at the pollsin 2012. We will remember how there was a newlyinstalled state government employee pulling downa salary of over $200,000 to regulate June to therumble seat. We will definitely not forget how itcost us taxpayers more money for the Clash of theTitans to bring this matter before our courts.

How do we know this? Because three teachersstanding in the grocery store line told us they’dremember. Worry etched their faces when they saidthey had no idea if they would receive theirpaychecks (due to our legislators fighting over thebudget) or if they’d even have jobs due to proposedstaff cuts in education.

It’s easy to think that after a few of Dale’semail accounts were shut down, a few otherEIC members’ having their internal emailsblocked and delayed, and some other strange‘Ghost in the Machine’ type of snafus to thinkthat someone hacked WFS’s website to shutit down completely.

So, it was actually a relief to realize theproblem with Dale’s website could just bechalked up to having paid hosting service feesto a very questionable company that insistson predatory business practices.

Because WFS and members of the EIC arebusy with the greatest environmental andsocietal issues ever, we all agreed it would berefreshing to just start completely over with anew web presence and need your support!

When people hear our story about what exactlyit is our groups attempt to do, we always hear thephrase, ‘Wow! Keep up the good fight.’

The problem is that we need more people tohelp us correct the wrongs (because if we wait forthe government to act, it’ll just make things worse). So, WFS is looking for people who want to workwith an unorthodox group that is dedicated toeducating the general public about what is reallyhappening with our environment and our waterquality issues.

What we need are intelligent individuals whoare self-starters who don’t need hand holding andhave a desire to dig deep to find the truth, whetherit’ s good, bad, or really ugly. They must havenerves of steel to withstand ridicule, a slightlywicked sense of humor, and can multi-task to thepoint of rivalling a circus juggler.

People who can think outside of the box, havean entrepreneurial streak, and want to make adifference in turning the tide to ensure for futuregenerations the availability of our mostprecious resource are welcome to [email protected] or call 336.340.6299.

The future is not set, there is no fate but whatwe make for ourselves.
