for withdrawal of Ground water

Permission to withdrawal Ground water through any pumping system
will not be accept for any purpose other than drinking water.
- NON-NOTIFIED AREA
NOC for Ground Water withdrawal will be considered forIndustries/Infrastructure projects which are either NEW or under
EXPANSION as per the C.G.W.A. given guideline :

SAFEMandatory recycling and reuse of
water
quantity of ground water exceeds 100cu.mtr/day.
Rain water harvesting to be adopted.
SEMI-
CRITICAL
Major and Medium industriesshall recycle and reuse at least
50% of the waste water
The withdrawal should not exceed 200% of the
recharge quantity.
CRITICALMajor and Medium industries
should fully recycle and reuse the
waste water
Withdrawal should not exceed 100% of the
recharge quantity.
OVER-
EXPLOITED
Efficient utilization of recycled
water and reuse of water should
be mandatory
The withdrawal should not exceed 50% of the
recharged quantity.
No permission for industries like packaged,
drinking, mineral water, distilleries, breweries,
soft drink manufacturing, textiles, paper and pulp
etc.
